Thanks. I know some people dont always appreciate an oldschool car with huge rims but im all for it.
I found a 60s bel air i think its a 62. This will get big forgiato style wheels on it.. its pearl white already but no interior. Only has the dash and steering wheel.

I am not new here. Not new to this hobby either.. hope I can inspire some imagination to go beyond real cars.

So there's a fantasy car of the modern Mattel era called the Twinduction. This 2015 release looks like this:

twinduction_1.jpg

Pearl green paint, lighting bolt tampos, black interior, white base.

twinduction_2.jpg

Headlights not coloured.

twinduction_3.jpg

Taillights not coloured.

Engine piece now a part of the metal body, thus lacking its own colour.

Some of the new folks here aren't aware, I do a thing where I make small adjustments to any existing retail Hot Wheels to improve their looks dramatically, "Retailer Buffs" as I've named the series. This is what I've worked on so far:

There's now a black front and back panel. The lights have been painted in. I've cut of the square piece in the center of the front grill to reveal a larger grill. The base is now black, the engine is silver and the joint connecting the engine to the bonnet is coloured black to visually separate the parts.

Some of you might have noticed my absolute absence from this place in the last couple days. I'm pouring every spare second of my free time on the customs for the convention's contest which is this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes once it's over.

Just finished with this one. 2003 Hummer H2. Upgraded custom flat black rims with disc brakes. Tinted windows and painted flat black underside.

I did too, until I had no way to make chrome parts.

I do have BMF now though, so I could see myself retrying this if I ever feel motivated enough.

that thing is epic! how'd you do the suspension?
It took a while but I made with a small diameter tubing used to make the axles20150923_191306.jpg
This is the shape I had to make for the rear suspension20150923_191157.jpg
Then put it were the axles would be20150923_191129.jpg
I like using the maisto trucks because they have the plastic piece in the center that gives it that springing action.

That is genius. I should try something wild with my Enzo and FXX castings as well.

Can we get photos of the back?
