Similar to what I did below but I only used a drill bit to round out the edges some.I used 1/16th aluminum tubing and reamed it out with a .0435 drill bit. I polished it before hand and then cut it to the size I needed.
woah, alright do yall mind if I ask some noob questions? Firstly how do I create decals like that? Secondly where do you get those wheels? And thirdly what brush do you use?Similar to what I did below but I only used a drill bit to round out the edges some.
1) Photoshop + careful measuring + printer = decalswoah, alright do yall mind if I ask some noob questions? Firstly how do I create decals like that? Secondly where do you get those wheels? And thirdly what brush do you use?

I did. I can try and find the file but you'll have to print them yourself.Did you print the roundel (bmw emblem) as well? If so, could I get two of them from you?
If they have it, yeah. I may have ordered mine off the internet. Has to be inkjet compatible (assuming that's what you have for a printer) and you can get it in clear or white background. (I used clear) After it prints, you have to spray it with this clear coat type stuff (made specifically for decals) so that when you put them in water the ink doesn't run.Do you just get decal paper from the hobby store to print them onto?
so that when you put them in water the ink doesn't run.
You can avoid it using a laser printer.I thought about this the other day and I questioned why I would still buy from that same brand. There ought to be someone out there who's tackled this issue with his/her own product.
How did you make the hole in the hood for the engine? I've always tried to figure out an easy way to do it.
Drill a hole and use a jeweller's saw.
I drilled a hole then used a dremel to carve out the rest.

Yeah, but if the problem is already known, someone should've at least made a set of decals that resolve that. I just don't know if someone has done that yet.
