I used 1/16th aluminum tubing and reamed it out with a .0435 drill bit. I polished it before hand and then cut it to the size I needed.
Similar to what I did below but I only used a drill bit to round out the edges some.

1) Photoshop + careful measuring + printer = decals
2) I think I got those wheels from here:

3) I don't uses brushes for detailing, I use these:

Do you just get decal paper from the hobby store to print them onto?
If they have it, yeah. I may have ordered mine off the internet. Has to be inkjet compatible (assuming that's what you have for a printer) and you can get it in clear or white background. (I used clear) After it prints, you have to spray it with this clear coat type stuff (made specifically for decals) so that when you put them in water the ink doesn't run.

so that when you put them in water the ink doesn't run.

I thought about this the other day and I questioned why I would still buy from that same brand. There ought to be someone out there who's tackled this issue with his/her own product.

You can avoid it using a laser printer.

Not really. If you don't clear it, the ink will "break out" when you cut it. It might not run, but it won't stay in the paper.

I have to do some decals in the near future for the convention's contest, and I am going to experiment with Future as decal clear as well as decal setter once the decal is applied to the car. Will report back 👍

Yeah, but if the problem is already known, someone should've at least made a set of decals that resolve that. I just don't know if someone has done that yet.

I'm aiming to try to do just that with the Future. From setting it in the paper sheet to sealing it efficiently when already applied so it will be impossible for it to warp when the clear coat is applied, regardless of what kind of clear you use.

Did two wheel swaps (Simpsons Family Car and the newest Silverado)

It has the same 5SP's it came with but they're the smaller version off of a mad manga. I need to strip them, paint them (probably silver), and I may add a white wall to the "tires". I may even sand the tires off and make a set of rubbers with some rubber hose.

I hate how the Silverado needs such big wheels to look decent. I had an old Dubs Hummer and these wheels were the only ones that I had that were the same size as what the Silverado came with. I had to make a set of axles but I think it was worth it for now.

I am still working on the final touches for my e36 and waiting for its wheels=)

Picked up a 67' Chevy C10 and a Porsche 993 yesterday. Currently working on the C10. I goofed on my e36 and had to strip it down and start from scratch=/ I'm taking a break from that for now.
