I can't wait for GranTurismo mobile for the psp it will be amazing game to buy for a porable machine. These anyone no if GranTurismo mobile is going online to vs people?:indiff:
It has Ad-hoc mode for up to four players, meaning if you and three other people with PSPs and the game (don't know if it supports gamesharing) are together you can play one another.

However, it does support AdHoc Party, which is currently being beta tested in Japan. That is a system where the Ad-hoc connection is made to a PS3 and then you can play online the same as if they were in the same room as you.

Thank for that man sounds cool to buy one more question to ask how much memory is it going take i herd it will take 1GB out of your memory card is that right?

Yes, the download size would be about 1GB, and there'll be no DLC for the title so that 1GB will be the full game, though obviously if you have a normal PSP you can just buy the UMD version instead and then it'll only use the memory card for the save file (256KB or whatever).

yes definately after hearing about the gt5 link up..gt mobile is the 3rd in a 5 game line up I'll be getting starting sept 15th.

I will be for sure no question, only a stubborn fan wouldnt buy it, even if it is like GT4 in the palms of your hands, I mean come on imagine playing a game of that velocity a handheld,
and trust me 1st of Oct will come in no time its already 1 month since the E3 was on a few weeks ago, and I can remember people anticipating that when there was 3 months to go ;).

admit it, you all are going to get GT PSP one way or another, and you all will like it.

I will definitely get this. The main reason is because I traded in my PS2 and games (including GT4) for my PS3 (thinking that GT5 will be out soon) so I can't play GT4 anymore.

It should also be about the only good racing game on the PSP (all those NFS's are exactly the same each year :D)

Can't wait...

Nah I wont get it. Never liked hand helds, even when I was back in school and caught the bus or during breaks, I'd rather just sit there thinking about stuff than playing a portable game. Even more so I'd never buy a racing game on a portable device. I like sims, sims that I can play with a wheel on my decent sized monitor. If I were ever going to buy a handheld, the sort of games I'd want on it would be along the line of RPGs, Fallout 3 would make an awesome handheld game.

No. I don't want to spend 250+ euros just to play GT4 with a few new cars. ;) I've never cared about handhelds anyway so me buying a PSP just for this game isn't gonna happen. I'd rather play Gran Turismo 5 on my 32" Bravia. :D

If GTM has a feature that I can connect it to my PS3 and use it as a rear view mirror or the HUD instrument panel that can be customized just like the one KAZ designed for the Nissan GTR to work with the full version of GT5. I will definitely buy a PSP and GTM. Hell, I might even consider buying two if they worked as side mirrors for left and right.

my thoughts exactly :)

Personally I think the making of GTM was nothing else than waste of time for PD, instead of concentrating on GT5. :indiff

+100

I am not getting this title or PSP for that matter.
Handhelds were interesting 20 years ago - times of Russian mini games - wolf catching eggs etc etc....

I am more than happy to acquire a copy of the game when it launches. So what if they should or shouldn't have developed it? The fact is, they have, and we will still be getting GT5, so OP, stop crying like a baby.

As for Justin thinking it is download only...ROLMFAO!

Even worse are the impatient ones looking at getting a 360 just to play Forza 3. Go ahead, waste your money. You will only regret it once GT5 hits the shelves...

Awww, spitting out your dummey eh? Maybe you need to wake up and stop worrying about what other people think of you...

Haha, 32" Bravia! It's funny the way people in here are acting like handhelds are the next evil sin, yet are happy to brag about buying tiny TVs for their all-growned-up consoles...awwwww...

I voted the "not sure" option as I am currently undecided about whether to get GT Mobile. It sounds like an awesome game, but I don't know if it is worth it with GT5 possibly releasing shortly in the future.

I think people are misguided thinking its GT4 with a few new cars... There is supposedly going to be a mode to connect your PSP to your PS3 to exchange cars... so lets say you win a nice car while youre travelling somewhere which you dont have in GT5 on the PS3, you can transfer it right over and have it there as well... SO after hearing that my guess was that the car lists for both games have to be similar or the same.. otherwise such an option would be worthless... Im not saying you should buy it or anything but you just saying its GT4 with a few new cars is generalized ...

I know I was exaggerating a little bit there. ;) It's just that I'm not very interested in this game.

I wouldn't call 32" "tiny", at least not compared to the 4" screen on the PSP. ;) Besides, I wasn't "bragging", I was merely stating that I have no interest in buying a Gran Turismo game for the PSP because I'd rather play GT5 on my television. I don't have anything against handhelds, I just don't care about them.

Instead of acting like a jerk in every one of your posts, you could say something useful. 💡

Voted No. If you already have a PSP, are a GT fan and use the PSP frequently, it's pretty much a no-brainer "yes" vote, right?

If you don't own a PSP and don't plan on getting one (like me) then I can't imagine investing +/- $300 dollars on the PSP/PSP Go and GT Mobile.

For that kind of money, I could almost buy a refurbished XBOX 360 + a Fanatec wheel and be playing Forza 3.

It's difficult to say with any certainty, and we will probably never know for sure, but GT Mobile has probably delayed the release of GT5 by several months (if not longer, as GT Mobile at times has taken up 100% of PD's development efforts according to KY). The suits at Sony decided that they wanted GT Mobile to come out sooner than GT5 in order to help them sell the PSP Go and KY and PD knuckled under--as I guess they were forced to do (probably why Kaz looked so uncomfortable at the E3 GT Mobile unveiling--he looked like he had just dropped a load in his pants and couldn't wait to get off stage to find a bathroom  ).

So no, I won't be getting GT Mobile or the PSP Go. BTW, the fact that only a little over 60% of people responding to this poll are saying "yes" is not indicating that GT Mobile is going to be a resounding "Win" for PD and Sony. After all, disgruntled though some may be, this forum is still filled with diehard GT fans. I don't see GT Mobile being a blockbuster. Certainly not a project that should have delayed GT5 as it has. And I'm not going to reward Sony's delay of GT5 by supporting GT Mobile--since it is essentially GT4 with more cars, more tracks, updated physics, blah, blah...

Just my 2 cents.

I would imagine that is a given.

By the way, PSP is $170 new, so barely over $200 for PSP and GT Mobile. I just don't want people thinking around $300 is what they must pay.

With more than 48 million PSPs out there worldwide it may be. If it is good quality and has the same draw for existing PSP owners as the GT series has for the home console crowd it may very well be one of the best selling PSP games out. It doesn't take much more than 1.6 million sales to break into the top ten PSP games.

You may be correct about this, but using what data we have currently available (anecdotal as it is) I would say this has a chance of being a big title for the PSP. Now, will it rival the sales of the top DS games? Not by a long shot. But in the PSP realm I think it will do well just because it won't take much by GT standards.

I took the time to read all this and I'm pretty much amased that very small percentage of people actualy owns a PSP.

Despite Everybody's Golf, I can't beleive all of you missed the chance to play GT and GT2 for the portable fun. Unbelievable :)

However, consensus is pretty simple, obviusly - majority of PSP owners will buy GT PSP, while other will not easily buy PSP just because of GT PSP.

But I still can't believe the point - Grundenwald, Tahiti Road, Rome, Rome Night, Red Rock Valley, Pikes Peak...list just goes on and on.

I don't feel like going to the effort to do custom firmware either. It's why I have been hopeful that we will see them as PSOne Classics.

You sound like that's all you will use your PSP for. And besides, the PSP is about $100<. It's not the only game on the PSP worth playing, there's hundreds of good ones.

Regarding the demand for GT Mobile:

I just noticed that there are currently 193 people viewing the GT5 forum compared to 4 (3 excluding myself) viewing the GT Mobile forum
I've never seen more than 7 people viewing the GT Mobile forum at one time. If I ever see 10 or more people viewing it at one time, I will be amazed
The GT Mobile forum is one of the least active areas of GTPlanet. Granted, this is "anecdotal" evidence, but GTPlanet is full of GT enthusiasts, and well, they don't appear to be enthused about GT Mobile.

Where is the buzz, the anticipation, the excitement for GT Mobile?
After all, it was just announced a few weeks ago. If there was a strong demand for, or interest in the game, you would think that the GT Mobile forum would be abuzz with activity...but it's not :( And I don't foresee that changing in the near future. PSP games have been, and always will be, a relative afterthought to their console counterparts. I must be an idiot, because I just don't see how launching GT Mobile ahead of GT5 is ever going to be anything but a FAIL.

Does anyone else see the irony in the PSP Go having a full GT title for it's launch, whereas the PS3 did not?

EDIT: I'm now going to exit out of the GT Mobile forum, because I don't want to artificially skew it's popularity by leaving my browser open, thus making it appear an extra person is viewing it and enhancing it's viewership by 25%

But I still can't believe the point - Grundenwald, Tahiti Road, Rome, Rome Night, Red Rock Valley, Pikes Peak...list just goes on and on.

Hi amar212, can you explain this sentence? Do you mean these are extra tracks for GTM?

To all the GTM dissers: why are you so negative. I mean come on really. GT5 will be there. And it is always with major GT releases that it takes "some" time.

I actually am very used to it. He!!, I play GT4 every day if I can. :)

It will only be a 1GB or so, is that 25% of your monthly bandwidth?
