How many would actually like to see this electric car in GT5

I don't think I would be a fan of electric races. Most of them make very little noise, and those that do, do so only because it's been added.

I can see revving up before the race and hearing a pin drop. Might as well race slot cars, IMHO.

I thought one of the concept vehicles in GT4 was all electric? If so then how did it do endurance races? I am in the middle of my last endurance race in GT4 right now (I dusted my PS2 off and plugged it in to hold me over) but when it's finished I have some research to do.

Wasn't the electric powered Toyota MTRC concept car ineligible for most races?

I don't think you can refuel it or change its tyres when you drive down the pit lane. I didn't drive it that much, or try to enter it into any endurance race, so I wouldn't really know.

EV's in GT would be awesome. It'd give a whole new challenge to racing that's for sure, do you go all out or do you hold back hoping your opponents run out of juice first? I'd like to see extended range EV's too like the Chevy Volt. It's where the automotive industy is headed so it makes sense to have them in the game.

-> On my Vehicle Wish List, I divided the EVs that are eligable based on their performance factors:

- NEVs (Neigborhood EVs) = Low speed, Ford Model T competing performance, but significantly faster than any average Golf Cart. (eg. Bomdardier NEV, Chrysler's GEM-series)

- City Cars = Average speed, average performing cars that is only limited within the city limits. (eg. Gordon Murrey's T.27, Edison Very Light Car, GM EV1, Aptera 2e, Myers NmG, Toyota pod, & MINI E)

- HEVs (Hydrogen Electric Vehicles) = Hydrogen powered. (eg. Honda FCV Clarity & Toyota FCHV)

*tentative naming due in my GT6 VWL*

- Plug-Hybrid = Hybrids that needs to be plugged-in. (eg. Chevrolet Volt/Opel Aptera, & Toyota Prius Plug-In Prototype)

- Sport EVs = EVs that performs significantly better than many average cars. (eg. Commuter Cars Tango, Wrightspeed X1, Dodge EV/Dodge Circuit EV, Venturi Fetish, Lightning EV, Velozzi, Toyota MTRC & Tesla Roadster/Roadster Sport)

- Luxury EVs = EV that are luxurious. (eg. Fisker Karma, Keio University Elica, & Tesla Model S)

^ I say, EVs are more than welcome in GT5, its just up to PD on how will they regulate races that are specifically designed for EV's. ;)

EDIT: And I hope PD should implement these gauges to each of their electric and hybrid cars, not the stupid standardized version...

Suicide on wheels

I actually seen one on video doing donuts and waiting for it to flip over but apparently all the wieght is at the bottom from the batteries that make it a very stable car. Looked really odd.

Indeed it is counted as a "Special" car and cannot be entered. Well dang haha.
