Yeah, because I traded in all my LPs for discounts on the same albums on CD.
(In retrospect, this isn't a very good analogy. There are lots of places where you can trade in LPs.)
Better version:
Yeah, I got a discount on a CD because I bought the same album on LP before.![]()
While that's an interesting point, it only reminds me how much I hate the way the music industry screws you over left and right...
Because that hard work should have been done while the game was in development.
Also, "europeens", if not a spelling error, is pretty offensive.
Don't care.I'm TIRED of this Standard car argument.
Doesn't matter.Think about it. Getting HD cockpit views, and high detailed car models for over 1000 CARS, many of which are rare. In 5 YEARS. With 150 people.
Irrelevant. They didn't model cockpits for standards because they want to troll us, or are lazy, or mismanaged their work. It simply wasn't possible.
GT5 doesn't even take up the entirety of the single layer disc that it does occupy.Especially on the Blu-Ray, which although has a lot of space, has it's limit, like all hardware. 1000 HD cars could surely take up the 50 or so GB of space, and there are also tracks etc. to think about.
Yep. I sure am glad that PD not only didn't even model Premiums when it would have been outstandingly easy to do so (Skyline variations, Miata variations, etc.); but I am downright pleased that they made absolutely no effort whatsoever to improve the cars that they couldn't upgrade to Premium (or even go through and fix the numerous glitches that they have), and I am also pleased that they intentionally sabotaged them in regards to access to features that they have no reason to not have.Be glad that they didn't actually try and attempt getting 1000 cars perfectly modeled, or you would have to wait maybe 10 years before it releases.
I don't know. Can we? You are the only one who has a conniption anytime anyone mentions standard cars. Now can we FINALLY turn the page?

No trolls here. Just two people arguing the same point that they have been arguing for over half a year now.
The only cars worth paying for would be cars that came out after the release of the game (i.e. 2011 or later models). Maybe $3 to $5 for 10-20 cars. Really would have to be "premium" cars.
If they charged to update current in-game standard cars to premium then I'd have to open a can of whoop a$$ on PD.
That said, some smaller, 'themed' car packs wouldn't be a bad idea either. Maybe packs of five for certain types of motorsport, a brand or maybe even a genre could be done..
The first pack will cost 60$ and be called:
Skylines, RX7s, Miatas, and more
And by more, they mean Civics, 350z's, and Evos.

The problem so many people have is that they fail to grasp that the quality of the cars was not some comandment of God set in stone or an unquestionable law of nature... when you say "they couldn't because it would take 10 years" you ignore the fact that they COULD if they chose something more reasonable to shoot for... so the couldn't reasoning doens't take the blame off PD for the results, while many try to make it sound like it does, it really just points to the real problem: They chose a goal they couldn't accomplish.
That is called poor management.
