How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

31 years old and in real life have been racing for 5 years in our country's rally championship group N and now group A7 ,in my virtual life I am a hardcore pc simulation fan rFactor,LFS,iRacing,RBR, netKar pro. GT5 will be my first GT, as I just brought PS3 slim just for it. I can make a good review of the rally cars physics as I have some experience with them in reality.

Would be great if you did a player review for us Tingri, i would look forward to that if you make one.Anyway i'm 24 and have been playing the GT games since GT.GTP is the only one prologue GT game i own, execpt for Tokyo - Geneva 2002 that i bought recently.

hi. im 24 and have played since i got a japanese copy of gt1 before any of my friends or i knew what it was. Ive had all of them since and cant wait to get my hands on gt5. great forum by the way.
 
I am 19 currently and have been playing GT since I was in about 9 so for ten years. I started when my friend I rented it from a video a store and got hooked. I did not have a Playstation so I enjoyed both games at his house,(GT1, GT2 and later GT3) until I finally got a system for GT4 in 2003. I still had to wait over a year for GT4 but played GT3 until then. I am now planning on getting a PS3 Slim for GT5 in a bundle and with a Christmas-ish release for GT5 this will work out great. The Slim helped seal the deal. Can't wait!
 
23 here. And i bought my first PS1 when GT1 came out, it's graphics seemed so amazing back then. As i grew up more i started to appreciate the gameplay and racing more and more and now im hooked.

I also bought a PS2 for GT3 and now a PS3 for GT5 P (and MGS4), and GT5 when it finally comes out.
 
I'm 20, my first taste of Gran Turismo was on the demo disc which I got with my Playstation in 1998. My second taste was at a friends house when I briefly played Gran Turismo 2, but at the time I was more interested in driving the El Nino in Need for Speed III. I didn't own a full game until 2001, when my step brother and I got a PS2 and Gran Turismo 3 for Christmas, since then I've become a big fan of the series.

Im 24 and have played GT since GT3, but its after I bought my DFP for gt4 that I I really got some serious hours invested in GT.. If I only know how many hours I have played on that DFP! Rough calculation in my head I think its atleast over 2-3000 hours :scared: Yeah I know, need to find another hobby :lol:
 
I'm 39 now and been playing GT since the beginning, when a couple of mates and myself were broke and invetsed in PS1 with GT and played when everyone else was in the pub. We all had different driving styles but the competition was hot with us shaving tenths off each other's times all night. Before that it was Need for Speed. This year I finally got a seat and wheel set up... 'bout time too!
 
I showed my mates 4 year old how to play GTHD when it came out, he loved it, but he was rubbish, he's now a dab hand at Mario Kart on the Wii, so I figure now's the time to bring him back to the Real Driving Simulator.
 
I'm 41 .. have been playing GT since 1999-2000

GT,GT2,GT3,GTC,GT4P,GT4 .... and now i wait GT5 ...

I'm 17, and I've been a fan since Gran Turismo. It was my first video game.

I was 7 or 8 at the time, and my parents wouldn't buy me a memory card so I never got far at all. Also, I didn't understand the concept of tuning at all.
 
47 here :cool: and never tire of playing the game ... started 4 years ago with GT4 and never stopped playing since ... also never found another game that could interest me as much ... but I'm not looking at Forza because that might do it for me ... now I have my new quad core PC I might give rFactor and iRacing a shot 👍

No it isn't available. I have been going on a rampant search trying to see if anyone would be able to be nice enough to let me download it off of their account but to no avail. I want it so bad!!! I am so far behind in the GT world now. I at least want GT:HD So i could enjoy GT on my PS3. It is free for god sake!!!
I know if I would have gotten my PS3 in 2007, i would have downloaded the demo then, but I just got my PS3 this past April 27. I want it so bad:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

Good news and bad news im afraid jagenigma. I have found GT:HD concept 2.0. It was actually my first ever download on my ps3 list. The problem is i cant remember the password to that account. I registered back in 07 with an email i no longer have and have no way of getting that address back. Sorry
 
I'm 26 and 3/4

I'm a recent convert from PC race sims (GTR 2, GT Legends, rFactor, iRacing, RACE) - I only started playing GT with GT5P when I got my PS3 about 5 months ago.

I recently bought a PSP ready for GTM though :) Only 1 month to go!
I will enjoy it regardless but fingers crossed engine sounds and FFB get improved for GT5 proper, which in my opinion are it's two weakest areas.
 
i'm 14, i started with gran turismo 5 prologue, at first i didnt want to buy the game, till i played it. and now i'm nearly exploding for gt5 excitement. i wanna try bugatti veyron with g25 :)
 
I'm 16, I've been playing since I got my PSOne along with Gran Turismo 2 back in Xmas 2000. I own GT2, GT3 and GT5 prologue. I've never been great, but I've spent a long time honing my skills :P
