I'll be 16, since I've turned 16 this year. Six years, I've waited for this. Four in a half of those years, I was still occupied with GT3 and GT4, and I was 10 and still crashing into walls. I bought GT1 and GT2 shortly after, just for the heck of it. And then the next 2 years, I've tried to keep myself occupied by sim racing on Live For Speed and other various games.....I can't occupy myself anymore.

I think some people don't understand how far games have come. I remember playing a racing game on my Atari 2600 called Enduro or something like that. I thought it was great at the time
now when the younger generation is older, we'll be saying this about GT5!

I am 29, but I remember this as my first "racing" game. It is kinda more like Burnout than a racing game. It also had season changes, which was actually pretty cool for the day. I had this Bump-n-Jump game for the Intellivision console (I am sure some of you younger people will have to google that to see what it is). Here is a picture to really show how far game have come. Also notice the working suspension, LOL.

Well I was 16 when GT4 was out. So when GT5 finally hits I will be a ripe age of 22 yrs. Pretty exciting actually....not. I hear everything goes downhill from 22

Heh, Night Driver, those were the days. Not necessarily better ones.
The VIC-20 version of that, or possibly a clone of it, was the first home computer game we had and also my first racing game experience.
I'll (hopefully still) be 36 when GT5 hits.

38 yrs old.. Have played all GT versions through.. some many times. Played all the major PC race sims of the last 10 yrs or so. I'll be playing GT until I'm an old man I am sure. It's actually amazing how far GT has come, I can't wait to see the next few versions of GT when technology no longer puts such limits on what Kaz wants to do. While GT5 is going to be great, the next gen hardware will really let GT shine.

I´m 29, Rambo was one of the first games I remember, it was on an Schneider PC... But there was also boxing on the atari, crazy times... That must be the reason that the older generation is pretty satisfied with GT5 and it´s graphics... The younger generation is whining about 2D trees and 2D crowd lol...
