This is me being told a new videogame called Gran Turismo had arrived on something called a Playstation, which some people referred to as a console apparantly.

I think that's how most of us will look when the game is released and the amount of wrinkled skin corresponds to the number of delays.
30 in January. GT and Armored Core are the best thing to ever happen to consoles.
I feel "Past my prime" I think my gaming has started to get worse though I managed all gold in GT5P and all S rating in Armored Core FA.
One of these years I won't be able to do either then I'll start cooking![]()

I shall be 39.
I want to show you younger members a video.
This is what we used to play back in the early 1980s. Can you imagine what its like for us oldies to be playing the likes of GT5.
I think some people don't understand how far games have come. I remember playing a racing game on my Atari 2600 called Enduro or something like that. I thought it was great at the time![]()
Agreed. What I also find fasinating is how the production of video games has changed immensly. For example Manic Miner was developed by 1 person (Matthew Smith) and was written in the space of 6 weeks. Even the likes of Codemasters started out by the Darling brothers who wrote games in their bedrooms.
Sorry if im being off topic but I want the younger members to see how video games have changed. Also to me the likes of Matthew Smith are legends in my eyes because its them who made video games become popular.
Weird stuff.
At GT4 release I was not yet graduated, had long hair and was quitting my pilot carreer to follow computing.
Now I'm 32, with a post-degree and also... i'm a father.
