I think Im going "Bandit Style" for the Trans Am event! Its hard to not use my "Bullitt" Shelby Stang, it blows doors! (Those are old movies for you younger guys!) But this is a chance to drive 2 cars I have wanted to race! Great selections!

Next Tuesday I'm probably gonna be hosting a 550pp event, street cars only at A1 Ring, around 10 laps, each race, 9pm (GMT -3)

We are on 3 confirmed people at the moment, I am thinking about making a thread about this on gtplanet, but didnt decided yet, if somebody into to participate, just let me know.

I saw Derp on the XMB and messaged him around race time to ask if HST was on this week but have not gotten any reply. I didn't like those old imports anyway been looking forward to the TransAm Event reminds me of the Classic Muscle Car Challenge. My best league experience to date I had a lot of fun that month, Thanks j*d. I get all giddy like a lil school girl whenever I think about the Baja 500 Unlimited Event. Too much fun is a good thing right?

Classic American muscle and higher speeds!​

Regulations

• You must choose a vehicle from this list provided
• You may use Racing Softs or less
• Vehicle must be a Racing Modified, Race Car, Prototype, etc.
• Cars may be tuned up to 650pp

Heres a chance to break out those race cars and SEMA cars for an event. All American Cars are eligible as long as it's a Race Car, or Special Car (SEMA/Prototype) that was built originally in 1960's or 1970's.

• July 24th: 4x 15 minute races at Daytona Road Course under the Lights

I think the cheapest ones are in the hundreds of thousands. I went for something a bit more expensive.

Spent a good two hours tuning my car. Should run alright now.

If you can control them, the GT40 MK I and Chapparal 2D are the fastest cars, but the GT40 needs a major tuning overhaul to even be considered driveable.

I'm not sure there is one. The Chaparal has a lot of understeer stock, I haven't tried the Cobra yet, but it's probably decent. I haven't checked the cheaper ones yet.

Is that 650pp right? Because I got a ChevroletCamaro Z28 Race Car '69 and only reached 584pp

Yeah. You'll have to find a car that starts around 570 or more to upgrade it. The car I'm using is maxed at 628-ish, but it's as fast as the others I've tested.
