It showed you there but never in the pits. I saw your comments but your square never showed up by your name.
And you were'nt on either one of my leader boards during the race. I don't recall ever seeing your car:confused: I thought maybe you just decided to sit them out for some reason.
Second race results showed in this finishing order: ncrthree, ph1sher, socket68, johnsom then MBOBB don't recall the others of the top of my head.
I'll look at replays in the morning. Glitch on my end I guess.
Can we be in a race together and you never show up on my screen? :weird:
Anyways it was fun racing with you.

You didn't show up on my screen, both during the race and results.

quality racing from the turtles last night!

i need some feedback from you guys... those guys who passed me... was i maintaining my line as I should be?

2nd question would be... i am revving to much coming out of a turn (i am on automatic shifting) which makes the wheels spin too much. how do i stop this?

As far as your line I can't give you a good answer because I was lagging some. That's why I always waited for a BIG opening before I would pass anyone.

For your second question :
1. You can lower your accel in your LSD setting to help with wheel spin till your comfortable.
And how do you have your tranny set up?
Short 1st 2nd and 3rd gears will cause unwanted wheel spin.
I drive automatic too. That's the ways I compensated
Or if you over drive the turn your going to have excessive spin on exit.
I always set my trannys up using praiano's method. If you don't know it,it's on the OP of his garage.

You drove fine johnsom. It's up to the trailing driver to complete a clean pass. I had no issues following you. You looked good on track to me.

Yeah, you can try and eliminate some of the wheel spin with the LSD but it's almost inevitable. I put my accel @5 last night. Lengthening 2nd and 3rd may help but I never bother with that. Tranny trick and adjust FG is all I do. Practice with throttle control on exit, braking early so you can power through the apex. Very easy to get too deep trying to gain time in traffic.

My Celica could exit full throttle without wheelspin, but I'll accredit that to low horsepower

Sorry about last night gents I tried to revert car weight back to stock and instead it lowered my weight even more in turn losing more hp and it just wouldn't be fair racing a car that weighed less than 780 kilos (especially to me LOL) backup car was no good as well. I tried and did get an entry on the track but it wasn't broke in, the weight difference and shotty tune from my shotty memory wasn't going to fly. hopefully I'll be able to run next week and put a decent time up hopefully Sorry if I got in your way there Ph7shr I was trying to get clear and let you by as I had NC3, you just came up faster than I expected. Congrats NCR3 No denying two 1st place finishes. I wonder who's going to win that PSN card? Really awesome prize j*d.

I apologize for leaving the race last night in what may have appeared to be frustration. The truth is I couldn't keep the new car on the track and with such a short track with so many laps left I could foresee causing an unnecessary incident and costing someone a position and points. You all know me well enough to know I'm not a quitter I should've just pulled over and parked out of the way like the rulebook says (had to look it up) But since I didn't have a car to drive anyways I just left and I know I should've stayed @ least until the race ended. I guess I'm still learning this is only my second series pretty much still a noob I just try to act like I know what I'm doing. I'll start the race early next week and this'll all be forgotten ;)

Thanks busted! No worries! We all learn from our mistakes, and look at yourself now busted, much stronger in yourself and more confident, I garentee the more you race with us and listen for tips or watch the fast guys like what there doing, you will be up with us eventually. Just like randy. He sticked with us forever..being in the back of the pack and look at him now, hanging with the big boys! 👍 we all turtles don't really compete for wins we just race for fun and have a great time!

I, myself love love hosting for turtles and setting up the schedule for you guys and I also love when you guys say like awesome job and awesome combos. Thanks all! And busted, trust me we all started slow, but we got faster everyday. It wasn't I was slow 1 day then fast the next day. We just get faster very slowly! I still remember when mbobb said to me, "wow ph1sher is getting really fast" yes that did make my day,

busted, we are willing to help you in every turtle way to get you faster. Keep practing and racing!

@Turtles everyone knows why I'm here Lord knows why you've let me stay but I am grateful to be here and learning from the best has its perks too Not only am I learning how to race I'm beginning to see the tracks in my head & every week a little bit more comes off my fast lap thanks Turtles 👍

Since I've been doing this the past 4 weeks, I've gained about 1 sec per lap over my old times

Just send me a pm how to do that

What will be forgotten? Ohh. Huh, I'd already forgot.
It's all good Busted. We all get frustrated. Even the experienced guys.
I recall Martin_ky posting he got frustrated in a race because he got a couple of penalitys on the same lap. He pulled it in the pits for the rest of the race.

Was in a race with Wins when he got frustrated, he pulled it in the pits for the rest of the race.
So it happens to all of us.

Only suggestion I would make is, instead of pulling of the track somewhere would be to pull in the pits and park it.
That way we don't have to look at a broke down car every time we drive by.
You'll do just fine friend. You'll get faster no doubt:tup:

Thanks Socks but I keep telling yall I wasn't frustrated I'm actually quite pleased with my progress thus far. I was however, annoyed with myself for not testing my car more before the race and then trying to change it up with only 2hrs till race time. Mostly I was seriously pissed off @ myself :banghead: for not backing up my data. That's a noob gamer mistake and though I may be a novice racer I consider myself an EXPERT GAMER :mischievous: Disgusted with myself - YES / Frustrated - NO

Hey Socket... 1st I don't know how to change LSD. I don't think I even upgraded my LSD. Tranny... stock.

I will play around with it and see... everything I'll do will be a learning experience.

I am actually braking early and accelerating too light during a turn just to avoid any wheel spin and over driving. I guess playing with the LSD is the only way.

LSD is my nemesis suggestion only change 1 attribute at a time and track test it or you won't know whats effecting what since they all seem to be tied into eachother For your wheel spin its acceleration and you'd want to lower the number 👍

That would have been one of the Sarthe races. That tracks penalty system frustrates the heck out of me.

Not going to be able to race on Thursdays for a while. Have a parental commitment that night. Good luck everyone. Thanks Jay.

No problem NCR, family comes first. Please know you are welcome to join in with us anytime you please!

Now, this will definitely shake up who is in first after this weeks race!

Sorry to hear this! You were really putting some good competition on me in the front which is awesome! Hope to see you on track soon!

Is it too early to start testing for the October events with the '79 or earlier muscle cars? If so, too bad, I'm doing it anyway. Currently testing out one car out of a few on my short list.

Hey jay, did you ever get anytime to take some photos from Thursday nights races?

Lookin forward to this Thursday night. Not sure how well I'll do,never really did like racing at night.

I did, and then had a busier than expected weekend. I'll try to get them on today, thanks for the reminder!
