Sorry bout the ruff racer turnshot 2nd race johnsom I did hear you coming and it was everyman for himself (I try'd to leave you room) but at that point all the gentleman racer had been knocked out of me on the 1st race. I'll take the penalty if it's merited and be last both races what the hell I'm not really in contention anyways ;) BTW good F'g racing to you all really great bunch of racers we have here in Turtles we hold ourselves to a standard no other league can replicate nuff said. OH and fisher you suck shudn't even be racing this circuit LMAO your prize must've got lost in the F'n mail!

Swept it, Your probably right! But hey! I rather have faster guys than me for better competition and better learning experience! Though at the same time its fun racing with everyone! Thanks guys! 👍

no worries busted! at the end of the day we all had a good time! 👍

I really need to improve my tuning skills ... i've tried 1 thing at a time starting with ballast weight distribution but by the time i am satisfied with my tune, we all moved to the next series so I will leave it as it is.

In both races I ran consistant 0.59.1s through roughly 10 laps then the next 10 laps I ran between 0.59.2s too 0.59.9s then it was flat 1.00.00 the last 10 laps.. probably couldve gotten a couple 58s in the race but just couldn't get there last night.

Had some really intense moments tonight. Did some leapfrog with johnsom in R1, and fought with mbobb at the end of R2 for 3rd place. Couldn't hold it together and dropped to fourth on lap 29. Ah well, was still an incredible experience.

hey bionic! nice racing with you! It was a fun first race indeed. I had a strategy in mind but I miscalculated the 1st turn to catch up with you... would've been closer.

it seems you and I will have more close races to run in the future!

If I hit the wall once I hit 20 times. I'll do better next week.
Johnsom it was fun racing with you in the second race. If there's one thing I can say about Johnsom it's that he will give you plenty of room in the turns. 👍
But I'm ok with a fourth and fifth place finish this week.Better than I use to get. And my daughter stayed and watched both races. I was a happy dad. I'll get her hooked hopefully before she's a teenager.

Thanks Randy! I am not sure if you're lagging but you were always moving left and right even on a straight line..... or probably you had too much to drink while racing...

remember... don't drink and drive! :lol:

REALLY KEWL STUFF my kids are too young to appreciate GT5 but my son is totally into imitation now. I peaked in on him last night after the races and he had my Bluetooth hanging from his ear and my DS3 making engine sounds really kewl stuff 👍

Two great races, and a full sweep by Ph1sher! Lots of close racing, this is a really great track for tight battling with multiple cars. Passing can be a little tricky, and I noticed that most of the passing was in turn exits. Consistency was key in this event, and Ph1sher had it down pat!

I'd like to say thanks for everyone coming out and racing with us! We had no connection issues, and everyone who started, finished both races!

Good luck with the chevelle. Been my experience they don't like turny roads. They luv straights. But that was in my hands. You'll probably have better luck with it.

If you want a Cortez Silver Chevelle for your garage let me know. I've got 3. I only need 4 more colors to complete my collection.

Edit: Found those Gems!! That's awesome jay*doc. Anybody else found them yet? Am I the first?

You are the first! I'll take one of those Chevrolet if you are willing to part with it. That way the fish can keep his, I think it's his only one!

I tested 2 cars so far, 1 is a dud, not good in the turns, the other could be a contender. But I'll have to see how it stands up to the Chevelle.
 
Turtle gems are photo alterations or manipulations to incorporate Turtle Racing League into the photo. It could be text, a decal, an actual turtle photoshopped in, advertisements, or something in the stands.

1 photo has 2 turtle references in it.
 
Guys, I may not be able to race this Thursday. Reason why? My TV is acting very strange; my remote is not turning on the TV like normal, and when its on, it does not accept any IR signals from it to the TV. Before you say, "Its the remote, Racing; get a universal and try it," I will try it, BUT it should be noted that the standby light on my TV flickers rapidly and the manual controls don't quite function correctly. After some digging, it turns out my model of TV, along with similar models from 2005-2008, has faulty power supply boards due to faulty capacitors.

Quite a detailed post, no? All I'm saying is if its the TV, there may be a chance I can't race. I can switch to my HDMI output and still use it, but if it runs the risk of royally screwing up the TV even more, well there's no point. I'll try to be there, but if not, you know the reason.
 
I've pulled this post for the better good of the league I only posted it so ppl could see how I felt and draw their own conclusions. I truly loved being a Turtle the pride was immense ty everyone for everything and I apologize to
anyone who feels I was wrong to post.

Edit: Still twisting it? As it says in the above text I removed the post as I removed myself "for the better good of the league" A mod must have either asked him to remove the post, or removed it for him. is incorrect misleading and a prime example of why all this went down.
