Turtle home. I need to update the OP.

I'll make notes on the community tab right now.

Hello, goodbye. I'm resigning from the High Speed Touring series due to my schedule. I'm just very tired through the weekdays and don't have the time to tune or play with the cars due to both academic and theocratic assignments. I hope you guys have a great time tonight, as well as in the upcoming months.

See you guys on Saturday!

Sorry to hear this derp! School always comes first before racing. Hope you do well in school! See you on Saturday! 👍

Good racing by all tonight!

Hey Bionic... school is cool!

Good racing last night gentlemen! My two pit stop strategy didn't work plus losing concentration didn't help at all. It was a great experience overall!

Now... on to the next series, classic American muscle cars! How do you get balance between good handling and speed? Not my cup of tea but I like the challenge... make sure to pass me on the straight because I don't know what will happen during turns!

Hey Johnsom. I found that a slightly higher rear ride height, and lesser rear away bar, has allowed a little more roll in my car helping it turn.

I'm using a slightly modified Clueless Tunes tune in the Chevelle I am testing. Look them up and see if they have a tune for your car, they have always worked well for me.

And you may know about it, but for those of you who need a tune to set a baseline, go to adrenatune.com for all the tunes available for most cars. It's a good resource. Word of advice, look for recent tunes, stay away from the old tunes, as some updates have affected them.

Hey everyone guess who's back? :mischievous: Yes I'm racing again in the best league in the game and I couldn't be happier. I won,t start racing until next Thursday the start of next month's HST Muscle Car Challenge. Now you all know I've had a few problems and had been struggling with them but I've nipped them in the bud and am ready to start a new. I want to apologize on the thread publically to every Turtle for whom my actions may have caused any discomfort. They were not very Turtle like and I promise never to engage in said activity again. I also want to say thank you to all the Turtles for allowing me to return. A special thank you to jay*doc for all his consideration and thank you Racing Otaku86 for sitting me down and reeling me in. Our talk and your insight helped me get outside my own head and see the big picture. I'll see everyone on the track next week 👍

Well, Ph1sher has done it again. Taking an early lead and running away with it. I have to say though, RacingOtaku86 made a great run, coming from the back to make it all the way back to second place. Given he didn't have a TV go black 2 times, I think he could have given Ph1sher a run for his money! As the race was happening, I was thinking how true to life this game can be, not only is it important to have great driving skill, but you equipment also plays a roll in the outcome. Sp watch out Ph1sher, word on the street is Racing has a brand new TV!

Thanks again everyone for your participation in completing our first month of HST. On to some American Muscle, bring on the Steppenwolf and Lynard Skynard.

See you on the track!

All winners will be contacted by PM to arrange prizes. See Standings for Series Results.

Yeah, the LAST TV with component ports. Seriously, they phased out the #^|£ things and now, after this one is hooked up, once it's done, so is my PS2 playing days.

That aside, yeah, since my TV went loco last week, I was worried that if the thing went on me during the race, I had to retire. Well, after blacking out TWICE, I finished second. Honestly, though, I never had a chance against Phish; he pulled away from me from 38 seconds to 50 seconds in the second half of the race, ON USED TIRES. He was just too fast in that Spoon and my FTO wasn't quick enough. Oh well, good racing to all.

Once it's all ready, get ready... for the usual RO86 banter, with a working TV.

God, I need to stop mentioning my TV.

Welcome back busted! Always good to have you back in the series 👍

Photos coming soon! Started taking a few this morning, so much great racing, I wound up with 17 pics. I'll have them on by the end of the day.

Great racing everyone!

Here are the photos that made the cut for the HST Finale at Deep Forest!

These cars looks great at this track, and many multi lap battles made for awesome photos! I could have taken lots more.

johnsom, I'm loving that new color combo, that looks incredible!

Great pictures j*d and your right Johnsom's color combo really pops! How'd you get the pic of Ph1sher in the pits lol too cool. TurtlePrizer's rounding up the tix & will be sending them out sequentially 1st prize 1st serve. Congrats to all the winners and to jay*doc on completion of the first challenge of his new series really good stuff guys. I'll be in T_T test-tuning for next months challenge if anyone wants to join me. 👍

Got a 1:09.444 @ GV East not very fast I know :yuck: I might have to rethink my car choice Shelby is too much for me to handle.

Depending on how my night pans out, I may stop in. Grilling right now. It's a beautiful day here in Oklahoma!

Excellent Photos Jay*Doc! Thanks for the spotlight too...

I am glad you liked my Joker colored car... :D

Now who's up for a trade??? I need neon green paints...

Hello Turtle Racers!

In preparation of the new series beginning, please remember to take a look at the vehicle restrictions in the OP and make sure you car conforms for this months event.

There are a few "Classic Muscle Cars" that are only classic looking, but completely modern underneath, such as the TransCrammer Mustang, Art Morrison Corvette, and Buick Special. Those are the ones I can think of on the fly.

If you have a vehicle chosen, or are narrowed down to 2 or 3, and are not sure if it qualifies, please PM me, and I'll let you know if it works.

Also, I did some testing in the rain last night at Eiger, that's going to be quite the challenge. The settings will be up to 10% ground water, change ability 5, weather 50%. This created a hard drizzle with no ground accumulation during my trial.

Thanks and good luck!

Yeah..I don't have many options left but I got 2 in mind now..

Phish I think you should go with the Cuda.

Nice pics jay*doc. Wish I could've stayed that close to Otaku the whole race. It's a shame phish missed all the fun being out front like that. Maybe we'll have something for him this month.

And MBOBB, sorry for the contact again. I feel it was my fault phish was able to lap us. If not for that he wouldn't have. Reviewing the replay to see what I did wrong, when I went for the pass I was probably 1 tire width to far to the inside and I glanced off the guard rail which pushed me up into you. Lesson learned. Patience.

Jay I'll pm you my car choice for your approval in the morning. Have a feeling there will be two different cars in the field this month.
