I need some suggestions guys.
I need to get a handle on my understeer on turn 1 and turn 8. I'm ok everywhere else at clubman track. I've lower anti-roll bar ( which is only thing I know to do to help with this) but it doesn't seem to help much.

Turn off ABS. B/B 3/1 or 3/0. All cars rotate faster without the brake nanny. Takes practice and a proper input device though.

This is an exaggeration but wouldn't running a B/B of 0/10 do the same thing? That would make the car rotate.

No it wouldn't do the same thing because ABS adds stabilization which results in understeer. I've never tried 0/10 ABS1 however to see. Worth a try. I like a loose car myself especially FF's.

I've run extreme rear bias with ABS1 and it does help. I also add ballast all the way back and that helps too. A balance between power and the ballast amount just has to be experimented with.

I do run a higher rear balance on FF but not to extreme. Maybe two or three points more than front.
Im running some ballast but not all the way to the rear. I will try that.
Thanks NCR

Thanks for sharing some input NCR! I may also have to try this out.

I'm having a pretty tough time off the line too, leaving in a slow cloud of smoke every start! I lowered the LSD accel to 30, think it could need even less?

I ran 10/25/15 on the 98 Integra at Suzuka and 5/25/15 at Tsukuba. You may be fine with less brake(last setting) for more off throttle rotation. The rest of the tune I grabbed from someone on GTP.

Try testing acceleration on the test track. You may be just as fast with some wheelspin rather than trying to feather it.

Mitsu FTO GP Ver. R Best 1:01.947 @ Clubman SS5 That's fast for me LSD-5/15/25 B/B & Ballast stock it feels loose for a split sec when I brake but she grabs as soon as I let off to start the turn

Now, DON'T CHANGE IT! LOL, don't want all that hard work to get reset again:yuck:

Looking forward to tonight!!!! I ran two 30 lap practice races before getting ready work this morning. I'm ready!!!! I'm hoping for a decent finish tonight. See you guys there. : tup:

Man, I wish I was able to get some laps in before tonight, work has been very busy. I've still got a few little adjustments to make based on NCRs recommendation, I hope I can handle them.

Looking forward to a fun night of racing, hope you all can make it. Invite a friend too! It may be too late to wing a series standings prize, but weekly prizes are still up for grabs.

Same, I was able to tune my car last night and get some practice laps in when I got home from church and I was able to get a 0.58.6xx but I doubt ill see that lap from me tonight though I was getting consistant low 59s last night. Looking forward to tonight! See you all! I'm going to invite 2 or 3 of my buddies to join us tonight. I've told them about both leagues and there very interested so ill be bringing them over tonight! 👍

I ran a few .59:3's but not consistent. Rest of laps were .59:6 to 1.00:4 until around lap 16. after lap 20 tire wear really starts to take its toll. At lap 30 lap time was 1.02:4xxx.so after lap 16 I starting losing time on a pretty good clip.

Watch yourselfs on the two turns you go thru wide open. Can't remember the turn #'s. Car starts getting pretty loose after 20 laps on those two. After lap 23 need to be even more careful with your throttle and braking inputs. Car will get away from you. 👍

I'm stuck in the 1:00 to 1:02 laptimes. I'm not gonna be a threat tonight.

Those are good times Bionic:tup: You run your race, stick to your line, don't drive looking in your rear view mirror and you just might be suprised how well you do. See ya tonight

Hey, those are respectable times. Before the oil change on my FTO, I probably could've made those lap times too. That being said, my fastest lap time so far... is 59.1 seconds.

I don't really drive with a line for this track. I just know which way I want to take the corners.

Plus I won't be using the mirror much. I'll be in the back.

Bionic, I'll be back there with you if you wait up for me!

And lets run in turtle home tonight! I'll put a message on the turtle town tab to make sure everyone knows.

I'll wait. (Unwillingly albeit.)

I just tried about four different random tunes, just messing with settings. The small amount of grip I gain in my latest tune has me running consistent-ish 1:00.XXX

If the leaders have to defend from each other, there may be a similar result as last night's Enduro practice... Or at least I hope there will be.

Short tracks usually keep people bunched up unless the front pack runs off and leaves everyone. Make sure you can keep up in the corners and the draft will gain you some time that you lose.

Had some really intense moments tonight. Did some leapfrog with johnsom in R1, and fought with mbobb at the end of R2 for 3rd place. Couldn't hold it together and dropped to fourth on lap 29. Ah well, was still an incredible experience.

I'll get you next time.

(And your little dog too!)
