no problem 👍 . if you can, send me a picture of him so I can know what he looks like. post one here, PM me, or at camyronjackson@yahoo.com. this will help me out greatly.

I hope he is okay, although I didn't know him.

We here at Holloman Air Force Base, NM have sent out Bear Base to the area to help with the victims of Katrina. Bear Base is a mobil base complete with sleeping quarters, medical facilities, etc... We are the only base in the Air Force who has this capability. Hopefully Kent is at one of our 4 locations in that area.

I'll see what I can do. We have 4 mobil bases set up, 1 in Florida, 1 in Mobil Alabama, 1 at NO International Airport, and 1 somewhere in a port. I can't remember the name of the port at the moment. I'll ask my higher ups if they have lists of personnel being processed through those locations. It's also possible that Kent may have been evacuated to any number of locations throughout the southwest. I know that we have evacuees in Albuquerque, and El Paso.

I'll try to contact one of my friends in el paso to search for him. I have his picture and I'm about to e-mail it to them. would be also good to put up some flyers for say an 10,000 reward?. it might be asking too much, but I see what I feel could be an fast, helpful way.

Ok I don't want to jump the gun but I think I have great news! I searched a database and came up with this http://wx.gulfcoastnews.com/katrina/status.aspx

It's Doyle-Hoggatt but the town of Mandeville is pretty close to slidell. A brother hoggatt listed along side is blake and when I searched for posts of that by kent and found it damn i was glad! Someone should call the contact number in the morning as its now 12:53am.

Edit: The link just goes to the database but search "hoggatt" and you will come to the same page. Also to elaborate/clarify what I wrote in haste, they are listed as "ALIVE" and since missing and unknown are also options, it seems they aren't saying alive if they aren't sure. Also I meant I searched gtp for kents posts with blake in them, not something he wrote elsewhere.

Kent does in fact live in Mandeville not Slidell. I spoke to him a day before the hurricane hit and he showed me exactly where he lived on the map. I'm also 90% sure his brothers name is Blake, so this is great news 👍

My birthday is coming soon and I think my brother wanted to be nice, really nice.
I accepted the gift and look forward to playing all the great games for the gamecube.

The oddest thing about this is that I would have never gone out of my way to buy a GC.
However, I always wanted one.

I say thanks to my little bro now.
Blake,

Good luck

His name is Kent Doyle-Hoggatt,

Is this confirmed..I hope it is.
UNfortunately it is NOT! That link was posted by Kent's family for Kent or his Brother or Mom to respond to if they find it. As of this moment no one in Kent's family knows any more than we do! :indiff: ...O.G. :D

Man, when Kent gets back ( I know he will!), I'm going to play Eye Of The Tiger for him 24 hours....ok maybe like 5. But only because its a song that reminds me of him and the victims.

Looks can be deceiving.
Living on the Gulf Coast in Gulfport MS, 10 miles north of Gulfport can tell you that from the heart.
Many buildings that look in tact are destroyed and will have to be bulldozed to the ground.
Many ppl had to cut into their roofs from the attics to escape through the roof just to get out of the rising water of the 30 foot tidal surge here on the Gulf Coast.

I weathered the storm and watched the destruction first hand with the surrounding neighborhood. :nervous:
To see roofs fly and cave in, shingles becoming frisbees of death if you were outside in Katrina would make you appreciate all that survived and lived to tell about it.

By Gods grace, our house survived with minimal damage and only because of the hurricane straps installed and one year old. I can't say that about others homes just adjacent to ours and believe me, the guilt is upon me when you see neighbors with no roofs above them or just totally gone.

My family is ok too and their homes were intact too.

If Kent was from New Orleans, may have been one of the evacuees to Houston or other places in which he can't communicate to get on the internet.
Phone service is at a premium with much of the system still out and I personally am grateful to be typing this message now.

Please, keep praying that Kent is ok and alive, doing well where ever he is or may be.
Many tears have rolled from these eyes knowing there are many who's loved ones are missing and not heard from.
Some very close friends of mine lost jobs, their homes and have had to move away to have a place to stay.
It's a very sorrowful time here on the Gulf Coast including the hardest hit areas of Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Gulfport, Biloxi in Mississippi, as well as all of the folks in New Orleans which lost everything they ever had.

I hope and pray for normalcy again but looking at the destruction in my hometown, may be years for that to occur.

Kent, hope you're ok man, may God be with you, your family, and hope for your safe return to the GTPlanet. 👍
