I have been watching news this week like everyone, and I'm only now beginning to understand how bad it really is out there. Looks like evacuations are working now, help is getting in and the storm itself is long gone, yet for the people involved this is only something that helps them get trough this day and next. What about after that? So many people lost so much and all that terrible destruction around them. And from what I learned (mostly from this thread, actually) it looks like there are some smaller places that were practicly run over by a tsunami. What about the people there, were these places evacuated or was it just (most of) New Orleans? It just looks so bad and I feel I'm not getting the full picture yet.
However looks like there are some encouraging signs about Kent, I hope he is out there somewhere. 👍
