I'll be relieved when he posts here again..if only somebody here had contact with him. Like a cell phone. Well he will be in my prayers. and my dads. In fact my dad is a pastor and we will put him in the bulletin.

Please keep Kent & his immediate family in your thoughts! ...O.G. :D
 
Guess i never really thought of the like power untill like it hit someone close, not even relitively close i guess but someone like "in the community" I dont think ive even talkee to him like ina thread or anything but have seen him round, weird well ill hope for the best .

Although i don't know Kent personally, i feel for all the great members of gtp and people of the world in general that suffer needlessly. I hope his alright and i will send a pray in his direction as well as for all the others who suffered in this terrible tragedy...
 
It's amazing how people on gtp come together on events like this. I've never seen half of the members in here before. It's clear that Kent is in everyone's minds, and any other members stuck in this situation.
 
Yes, its been a while now, but keep in mind how busted the communications system is in that area. Also, there's no doubt that posting on this site has to be well down the list of priorities Kent has at the moment. It may well be some time before he is able to get around to posting here. You can imagine the other things he and everybody else in the area have to deal with...

There are other members aswell but we don't know them but still they too will be in our minds
 
Kent is great guy... he deserves all the prayers he can get... I think a lot of people here have seen that in his posts and what he does here, even if they haven't talked with him personally... we're all rooting for you, man.
 
My thoughts are going out to Kent and everyone else down in the south... I'm pretty new here, but I did join WRS and Kent seems like a great guy, very well liked in the WRS community. I hope his family, both blood and GTP, hear from him soon.
 
I have been watching news this week like everyone, and I'm only now beginning to understand how bad it really is out there. Looks like evacuations are working now, help is getting in and the storm itself is long gone, yet for the people involved this is only something that helps them get trough this day and next. What about after that? So many people lost so much and all that terrible destruction around them. And from what I learned (mostly from this thread, actually) it looks like there are some smaller places that were practicly run over by a tsunami. What about the people there, were these places evacuated or was it just (most of) New Orleans? It just looks so bad and I feel I'm not getting the full picture yet.

However looks like there are some encouraging signs about Kent, I hope he is out there somewhere. 👍
 
Fraid I don't know Kent to talk to, but I know he's a long standing contributer here, and more importantly to me.. he's one of the good guys of the boards.. (and I always wish them well). Got my fingers truely crossed that it's only the water damage and mess holding back an "I'm OK Fella's" Post.

My thoughts are with you and your family Kent 👍
 
There isn't much I can add to this. I'll be praying for Kent, his family, and everyone else involved. Can't wait to see you back here! 👍

I hope he'll be ok. I believe will be ok, the same can't be said about his house / computer / internet / telephone connection. So that is probably the reason why we haven't heard of him yet.
 
Kent,when you come back,if you have but a scratch on you,im gonna kick your arse for not evacuating ;).

Bah.Just trying to lighten up the situation.

Anyways..


Hope your alright Kent....and since New Orleans got messed up good,he probably wont be able to contact us within the City for a good 1-2 months unless he gets to a relatives house out-of-state.
 
Well I haven't said anything in this thread yet. And while I don't really believe in a God, I still hope that he is ok and his family made it out safe as well. I'm sure he'll be back sooner or later, and I'm sure he will be fine. He has a lot of support from all of his friends at GTP. And it amazes me how much we are like a family here on the boards, we really do look out for each other. I'm impressed 👍.
