Hope you, and your family and friends are ok Kent.

And i really mean that!

We in Carlisle, Cumbria, in the UK had major flooding in the new year and it has severely effected the whole city and area, so i know (to a certain extent) what you mite be going thro.

But as a completely non-religious person i did notice(whilst using Google Earth) that New Orleans has a greater concentration of churches than Rome!

Ironic,huh?

Neil

My thoughts are with you Kent. Hope whichever "higher power" you choose to pray to has helped you through this disaster and you & your family & friends are safe & well.

Look forward to seeing you back around the GTplanet in the near future when the mess is cleared up.

As far as the looters go, I hope they're all rounded up and made to do the very worst jobs of the clean-up efforts that will bring Louisiana and Mississippi back to normal. :yuck:
Not those who're seeking food, water or essentials for themselves & family, but those who we're seeing stealing TV's, beer (yeah it's an essential for some of us;) I know!) and trying to make a profit from 100,000s of people's misery. 👎

Well, I'm mostly a lurker around here, but I hope that Kent and his family are ok. I've seen the news on TV and it looks really bad... I just hope everyone's all right.

Hope to hear from you soon Kent! .... best wishes to you and your family and everyone else affected by this. .... talk to you soon mate 👍

Hope you're okay, man, really. GTP can't lose you, we can't. Then who will be our big brown bearded moderator? Noone here, that's for sure.

Sincere wishes to Kent and his family.

Hope you and your family is ok Kent, hope to hear from you soon (although probably not possible).

May the Lord keep and protect you and your family Kent. Our prayers are with you!

May the Lord keep and protect all the people in the gulf coast region in their hour of need.

Really hope that alls well with Kent and family.
My thoughts and best wishes go out to all affected by this disaster.

Steve

I don't know him at all, but that's not the point. I really hope to see you back here ASAP, Kent! We are a huge community and we have to support each other when it's needed.

Get back here now Kent! :)

Im new here as well, and do hope that Kent makes it through this. I live about 60 miles away from Slidell. Things are terrible down here, but I keep hope that we do here from him. As others have stated though, it could be sometime before we hear word :nervous:

Living so far away, I never thought that this tragedy could affect anyone I knew.

My thoughts are with Kent and his family, and with any other GTP members caught up in this horrible catastophe. I hope they all pull through...

To: Kent, his family, friends and loved ones....

May whatever higher-power you choose to pray to keep you out of harms way while your city (N'alins) recovers from one of the worst storms to ever touch down anywhere in the 50 states that comprise the U.S.!

FYI...Early reports have indicated that power to all those affected by hurricane Katrina, could take up to one-year!

Sincerely,

Things certainly look tough there at the moment and my thoughts are with Kent and his family.

I look forward to hearing that everyone is safe and well.

Jerry.

I've never had any dealings with Kent, but my prayers go out to him, his faimly, and anyone effected by Katrina. I have family in Mobile Alabama, and I haven't heard anything from them although they weren't hit as hard as other areas, I'm still concerned. Being from Texas, all the major cities are setting up shelters for people in effected areas. There's already over 30,000 people and more coming, moved from the SuperDome to Reunion Arena here in Dallas. Churches and local radio stations all over Texas have been holding fund-rasiers and drive-thru donation centers for food, water, clothing, toiletries, anything anybody can donate.

I've personally donated some money and alot of canned food, all going to help those being relocated to Texas. Lines at drive-thru donation centers were over a mile long with cars. It's been getting alot of coverage in the news, and I keep hearing people saying they're sick of hearing about it, that pisses me off. You see people on the news begging for help being trapped on freeway overpasses for days with no food or water, children and eldery people. Everyone should donate if they can, even $10 helps. It's good ot see there are alot of people doing what they can to help the people who need it the most though. If worst came to worst (hopefully not), Kent will be getting some food from me...

I've just been watching the news, and it's pretty grim for the people in the city proper, I hope Kent's okay out where he lives... damn, you expect these kind of things out here where I live, but not in America... it's sad to think of what some people will do in times like this.

Yes, My Prayers are with Kent and all the others affected. I'm from England, but I've got relatives from central New Orleans, and I haven't heard from them at all.

No offence to anyone meant but any hopes of communication are out the window at the moment, you're not going to hear from anyone for a while.

You would have hoped the US would have set a site up with names of families or messages or soemthing.

I hope that Kent, his family and all affected will be fine. Good luck 👍

i'm sure i'm not the only person to have been left with a lump in my throat from the devestation witnessed through my tv. kent has earnt my respect as a driver and my friendship through his outlandish and sometimes controversal thoughts.
it has completely knocked me for six associating someone i know with the horrors portrayed on tv.

something will definately be amiss until kent returns with his sarcasm and wit.
my thoughts and hopes are with you. hurry home! xxxx

:(

Your in our prayers Kent, i'm new in these forums, but I feel as though I joined
a great race community. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of the
people, family and friends that suffered through this tragedy.
