You're in my prayers Kent. Hang tough, dude.

It's probably going to be awhile before we hear anything at all. There is very little communication happening in the areas hit the worst. It could easily be a few weeks before we hear from Kent. In the meantime, the best we can all do is pray and give assistance as best we can by donating and volunteering.

The recovery engines are humming now and will soon be rolling along like a well tuned V10 at full song. It's going to be amazing to see what is done by the people of this country in the wake of this storm.

May God Bless you and yours Kent.

We went through 3 bad hurricanes last season here in Florida, and it's not at all uncommon to not hear about ones' wherabouts. Everyone I was worried about finally turned up- tired but safe, I've gotta believe that will be the case here.

Hmm.. I hope he is ok, if he is, I think he is helping other people or something.. Also, they have NO electricity there.. Remember that!

If they send my National Guard unit to New Orleans i'll be on the look-out for Kent and make sure he gets out of there. Hopefully they got out of there already.

Well, all I can say is, my prayers are out for him, his family and all else in New Orleans and anyone else affected by the Hurricane. I hope you'll be well Kent... I just hope and pray you'll be well.

That's all I can say.

Till later.

Hope all goes well for Kent. I know the destruction there is massive.

My older brother leaves Tuesday to help the Red Cross out and volunteer. Hope he is of some service to those who need help.

My prayers are with you, Kent. I sincerely hope you and your family (and everyone along the gulf coast) will be ok soon.

I keep on checking this thread to see if Kent has popped up and #17 pops up! Where have you been?

I wish Kent, his family, and all the residents of the Gulf the best of luck.

BTW WTF is up with the sponsors advertising real estate in Slidell... that's just sick.

I do hope kent is safe, the best 'o luck to ya kent!

we sure do have some strange advertisers!

I hope Kent is safe from the storms damage and possibly even the worse, New Orleans citizens. There has been lots of violence there. :(

Ok I don't want to jump the gun but I think I have great news! I searched a database and came up with this http://wx.gulfcoastnews.com/katrina/status.aspx

It's Doyle-Hoggatt but the town of Mandeville is pretty close to slidell. A brother hoggatt listed along side is blake and when I searched for posts of that by kent and found it damn i was glad! Someone should call the contact number in the morning as its now 12:53am.

Edit: The link just goes to the database but search "hoggatt" and you will come to the same page. Also to elaborate/clarify what I wrote in haste, they are listed as "ALIVE" and since missing and unknown are also options, it seems they aren't saying alive if they aren't sure. Also I meant I searched gtp for kents posts with blake in them, not something he wrote elsewhere.

ExigeExcel
No offence to anyone meant but any hopes of communication are out the window at the moment, you're not going to hear from anyone for a while.

You would have hoped the US would have set a site up with names of families or messages or soemthing.

America is gay Exige...thats why WE need to make it better.

Never Met Kent, never talked to him that is but my hopes are with him.

That's great news - I hope it means they are alive and well.

I'll still be thinking of them though, even though the worst is over, there's still plenty of rough stuff to get through before things return to normal.

My thoughts are with Kent and his family.

Kent does in fact live in Mandeville not Slidell. I spoke to him a day before the hurricane hit and he showed me exactly where he lived on the map. I'm also 90% sure his brothers name is Blake, so this is great news 👍

Kent
My birthday is coming soon and I think my brother wanted to be nice, really nice. 👍
I accepted the gift and look forward to playing all the great games for the gamecube.

The oddest thing about this is that I would have never gone out of my way to buy a GC.
However, I always wanted one.

I say thanks to my little bro now.
Blake,

His brothers name is Blake :)

I called the contact number & left a message on the answer phone...also posted a message thru E-Mail. Keep your fingers crossed that we hear from him soon! ...O.G. :D

Thanks for the updates, guys, and good research! Let's continue to hope for the best.
