I don't get the like on Course maker

I don't think the fans' demands are even on PD's radar. Many of the changes fans have been asking for for years require no extra work, just different choices. You don't need to hire more people to make a premium Supra for example, or an E30 BMW, the two most popular car requests, you just choose to make them instead of other cars.
The point of contention was responding to fan requests in general, not our individual requests. I could care less about a Premium Supra myself, but it's at the top of the list for fan requests and has been for years and it shouldn't be hard to either get the licensing or find a suitable model for scanning in Japan. The fact that it and the E30 are consistently the number one fan requests on the number one GT fansite and are still not in the game, and would be very simple to add, tells me they don't give a crap about fan requests, and anything we end up with that was requested, is just coincidence.

Fair point, again. But the thing I'm trying to get across is, PD can't seem to include more cars and/or features than they actually can AND should. But now that you've mentioned it, PD hasn't really responded to fan requests, and that is a sign that they don't give two 🤬 about the fans. Which brings into my other post from earlier...

But yeah, I do get the feeling that KY sort of designs the game in a way that, nearly all (if not all) the things in the game are things that he wants. You rarely see things in the game that have been requested by fans. Even though the fans have cried for some features/details to be included since the beginning of time *ehem Premium Toyota Supra Mk.IV ehem*. Pardon me if this is gonna be a bit rude, but it's like, GT revolves only around him.

Yeah this discussion needs its own thread. We're getting out of hand here.

There's always this thread on standby:lol::lol:

I'm pretty sure GPS technology is advanced enough now to pick up elevation, but you're most likely right about the rest - it'll be a few years before technology advances to the point that GPS systems can pick up absolutely everything.

Besides, this is the first time anything like this has ever been done in a game. You can't expect it to be perfect.

I agree with that the tech is there, but i dont think it will be implemented into the game, only because its supposed to be an app on your phone right.... even google maps dont show elevation on a particular route your driving in real life, but then again it depends how far PD are willing to push this feature.

mr unknown what I am stating that this talk about the course maker in gt6 will not introduced in gt6 you will have to wait for gt7

He's telling you to work on your grammar...

IE. Capital letters and punctuation.

well sorry about that .I forgot to mention I have a broken back (on the job)and heavly on meds.i didn't know my grammar was the subject ,and not the course maker .:scared::scared::scared:

OK you may be right, or you may be wrong. I am entitled to express my opinion on this matter.I just don't want to be promise something and it doesn't appear.Remember its been at least a year since the game came out.And still no course maker.Im not mad at anybody. I just don't want to get excited on false promise's again.

@willbegone has a sort of point, I mean if the CM is becoming a little hardware hungry for the ps3 then old Kazzy baby might drop it.

It used to state on the website that you were able to create multiple races in sequence, (as in 5-10 race championships) but that feature never made it into the game, it got dropped then wiped from the website as a feature, never to be seen again.

Which is bollocks because thats the main feature I was looking forward too.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion but the course maker was promised, is still shown on the web site as a coming feature and apparently there have been traces of it found in the code. Yes it is overdue and should have been here long ago but that does not mean it is not coming. All the current data indicates it is still planned to be part of GT6 so your opinion in this case is just a guess and I hope for every ones sake you are wrong

i would bet 100:1 that the course maker is coming to GT6. there is no way PD could not include and walk away without being beat up. if they were to give up on the feature they would be dealing with a pretty scary lawsuit (i know in the states they would, i assume japan is similar, but im no lawyer). worse case we get a really pathetic and bugged version of the course maker.

i honestly still support PD, they give us plenty of free things and really unique features that no other game comes close to providing. if i had to pay PD 5$ a month for vision cars, new tracks, new special races like the red bull challenge, online mode support, etc. they could use that money to pay extra developers dedicated to that kind of extra stuff, and let the core group continue to work on features that we already paid for. i trust where they are headed, and i want to help keep them going in that direction, which is why i would welcome a subscription style payment.

also gps can easily track elevation, it kinda has to if it wanted to properly figure out your location, even with your phone's basic gps chip.

You changed the name of the thread. 👍 Thank you so much, that was bothering me!

This feature has been talked about for a long time and has been awaited by nearly everybody. This feature should let you create almost any track in the world if it lives up to its name. In that case, we wouldn't have fifty threads asking for a specific track.

all im saying is there will be no course maker in gt6 kaz needs something to push gt7
He doesn't need to drop the course maker if/given there were no hardware issues. Or even the livery editor.

He can/has a lot of features to upgrade for GT7. Like, all cars made to full premium's, adding a lot of the newer normal cars (2014+), full premium tracks (full weather with night/day), better physics, better tire modelling, better damage, fixing faults (like some cars top speeds/HP ratings), fixing invisible walls, better sounds, plus expanding/improving GT6 features.

Yup there's a lot to do, but in order to compete you have to do them.

Bring on the Course Maker.

Has it really been in Beta for nearly a year now?
https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-6-track-maker-currently-in-beta-testing/
It won't be released unless it works right? When GT6 was released and it didn't work right, and still doesn't in some cases.

Instead they put some crazy GT Vision car up every couple of months and the Sheep go Baaahhh. https://www.gtplanet.net/srt-tomahawk-vision-gran-turismo-teased/ Now It's GT academy another one of the great delaying tactics. https://www.gtplanet.net/srt-tomahawk-vision-gran-turismo-teased/

My Guess is that release of the CM for GT6 is now set to coincide with GT7 pre-orders, and an announcement of dropping support for GT6.

Lying is acceptable in Japanese culture. Do they still have Seppuku?

Maybe. Maybe not.

Lying is acceptable in Japanese culture.

An opinion cannot be proved; a fact can. Can you prove this? Or is it an opinion?

Do they still have Seppuku?

Only for those that can stomach it with some honor, I guess. :)

Like, all cars made to full premium's

Never gonna happen until way down the line, I think they confirmed standards would be in GT7 already.

Also, I would bet on livery editor not happening ever, too.

Lying is acceptable in Japanese culture.

Lying is acceptable (and even expected) in western cultures as well. Being polite demands a certain degree of dishonesty, and telling the truth in all situations would be considered rude.

You w0t m8.

The course maker is the last hope for GT to have some semblance of fun, customization, and replayability.
Errrr... what??? Replayability is very high in this kind of game (if you like it). Maybe you simply dont like it

With the course maker though, the fun/playability/replayability will go from very high to absolutely insanely high
