Gonna watch a movie then i start my practise. My speed is not that great but decent to go with i think. Still need to tweak the balance of my car a little more. also some practise in the rain is needed. See you guys on track.

Change the winning points to 32 or 34 and you've got my vote.

The entire basis of the points system I created in the first place was to allow people to catch up much easily. I wasn't quite anticipating GP and Immortal dominating both seasons though.

I'm not really convinced Immortal is back either to be honest, I'm not happy with him racing only every other race, otherwise you're just taking points away from the people who actually do turn up to every race.

Yes I agree with Arkanos statement that we need dedicated racers and not guys who show up now and then just to hurt my feelings , lol

I'm sure we can figure out a solution

If we really want that extra edge for the winner, you could have: 30-25-21-18
diffrence would be 5-4-3-2-2...
It wouldn't change much though.

I'll just go with the flowww

Anyone going for practice now?? i'm in TeamSpeak if anyone is practicing too..

Hey guys, sorry about this but i've had some last minute family crap thrown at me that I cant get out of...

I don't have a hope in hell of making it now tonight.

Hey guys I'm out at the moment but I should be back in time. I probably won't have chance to download teamspeak though. Looking forward to tonight!

My worst race ever. I had a car to get up to 4th or even better. The start went clean but the first laps i had some how some lag difficult to drive my car. After i got some small hits from other cars i got somwhere behind. In the parabolica i lost it completely, i got caught in the wires of my headphone and throw my laptop on the floor. i got behind my teamate and i bumped him quite good. But i restored my self quit good after the pitstops, still got high hopes for 4th place. But i made 3 or 4 other stupid mistakes. part my own fault, part my steering wheel. I lost in total a full lap. However i could pass adam again, but i braked to late in the first a braked on the 100 sign instead the 150 sign.
on the end my tyres were destroyed. lost an other 3 places.
now i go cry me to sleep.

I was slightly tempted not to turn up to the race today, very happy I did :)

Turns out the NSX is the quicker car at Monza, and I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that from what I can remember, nothing went wrong.

My start was fantastic, after Immortal somehow pulled half a second out of nowhere at almost literally the last second of qualy, I didn't even need to slipstream Immortal, by the time I shifted into third I was already a car length ahead and got through the first corner with more freedom and space than I could ever have imagined at Monza.

Everyone piled onto Immortal and I managed to pull out an almost eight second lead during the first stint, it wasn't until after the first round of pit stops that Immortal very slowly started to catch up to me. The gap between us would only have a permanent change during the last two or three laps of each of my stints because at that points the tyres were very close to dying. I somehow managed to pull off a two stopper without losing too much time and my tyre wear being almost completely even.

Immortal managed to catch up to me a few of laps into my last stint, around lap 28-30 or so after I was put off slightly by trying to lap Grayfox (he wasn't at fault at all, just with the rain starting to have a minimal effect on my car and having been alone the entire race I lost some concentration for a little bit) and after that we were pretty much together for the rest of the race. Huge respect for Immortal for waiting for me after we came together at the second chicane (somewhere between laps 31-34) and I span.

On the final lap, we were both going down the back straight to the parabolica at half throttle trying to be the last guy onto the pit-straight, but in the end I broke faaar earlier than Immortal and slipstreamed my way to win the race by a tenth.

Wrote far more than I intended, you could strip this win from me for whatever reason and I'd still be ecstatic

Oh, I forgot to mention, but I had absolutely no lag today! No internet lag, no fps lag, nothing. It was pretty much as if I was driving by myself in my own room.

Got 1:43.2 in qually and started 3rd :). My start was a bit crap and slow which put me 4th at T1 but then I got bumped going through the turn and ended up 7th :(. Had a nice battle and got back to 6th but then I clipped the grass and crashed which put me back to 7th, then a few laps later I spun out which put me dead last. I decided to then go onto soft tyres to try and gain back the time I lost and I was doing well catching back up then it started raining which cooled my tyres which made my softs last longer and averaged 1:44/1:45 for about 10 more laps before coming in on lap 27 to go back on mediums. I then got held up a bit by joeTruckV8 but I managed to get back past him and managed to lose him after he span out on the main straight which gave me a bit of room the breathe and push a bit. During the final 6 or 5 laps I was catching Maxitsu and Adam or so I thought, it was actually only Arkano and Immortalpilot when I finally caught up and I was gutted because I thought I was going to get 8th position but then luckily for me Maxitsu went off on the final turn and I caught up and passed him to finish 9th :). Had a cruddy start to the race but overall was fun :D.

Gutted , spun out twice and it cost me a very possible 3rd place , worst part is I lost the 4th place on the last corner of final lap . Sigh , I let the team down today but we will do better next race .

Congrats to Arkano for an awesome win , seems you have tamed the nsx quickly , welcome to the ballast club .

Falcon , 2 podiums in a row. I hope to finish in front of you next race .

Lining up on the grid. My burnout marks are already visible.

o3XWyh.jpg

Straight away I get a lightning start and build a gap by only the exit of the first chicane.

GawxNh.jpg

Persian, Immortal and Falcon all duke it out for second place on the opening lap.

l6vosh.jpg

A few laps in, the situation hasn't changed.

y9VBQh.jpg

Erik falls foul to the clutches of the parabolica, the first of many.

sEj1Th.jpg

How many Xanavi GT-R's does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

pdv9Ah.jpg

Two, apparently.

Y93G6h.jpg

ProPersian spins on the parabolica after staying out a lap too long on his soft tyres.

UOPJ7h.jpg

Immortal has finally caught me and we go side-by-side through the parabolica, favourite moment of the race right here.

hXiHoh.jpg

Immortal underestimated how fast the NSX is in a straight line.

IOjfmh.jpg

Adam and Anatasis battling it out for whatever position this is. One of my favourite shots.

umIIrh.jpg

Going side-by-side into the second chicane, the last eight laps or so were filled with intense racing.

rwAJWh.jpg

Immortal pushes me into the gravel by accident and I spin, he waits for me, and this is the only incident I have during the entire race.

LyMt6h.jpg

Skendigi loses control of the car through the parabolica, and with it, his shot at third place.

oGW9gh.jpg

The final lap, and how our battle looks like from Joey's perspective.

9X0uah.jpg

Maxitsu ends up in the gravel at the parabolica, loses his position to Joey right behind us and ends up with a great view of myself and Immortal as we take the final corner of the final lap.

qNqrTh.jpg

The race was well fought, but in the end I came out on top 👍

Ow0SHh.jpg

ProPersian managed to edge out Skendigi for fourth place.

2xFARh.jpg

Adam manages to edge out Erik for whatever position this is

HL1WUh.jpg

A black and white shot of the podium because, why not? :)

----

Fastest lap went to Immortal with a 1:42.9xx followed by Joey with a 1:43.1xx and then me with a 1:43.5xx. Overall the race was actually clean on all fronts that I could see from the replay, great racing by everyone 👍

Nice to see three close finishes too, that's half the finishing grid that finished within a tenth or so of the car behind/in front!

Far too many people went off at the parabolica, I only captured a few of them

Been watching the replay and talked with Arkano about it. No penalties will be given as it all in all was a very clean race, some race bumping occurred, but thats racing and no one took a unfair advantage from what we could see.

Good race everyone, leaderboard will be updated when I wake up tomorrow and after I've got my first cop of coffee.. or more honest, 5 cop's of coffee.

Congratulation to Arkano for his first win in a while, nice pace there mate.

There was some fps drops for mid pack and back pack. But I honestly found it pretty problem free. I could not find anyone with a clock bug and no one seem to using high octane fuel. Like we seen when the much talked about online bug occurred.

I'm happy to say that we are the league that doesn't have to "adapt" to the online bug, we went around it.. (we should have called our thread that)

I'm happy about the amount of people showing up on teamspeak and hope more to come along the way.
I got some plans were we could split up teamspeak in separate group's one for each team and we could actually see some real good team work going on.
We should stay in the ICGTC-OPEN channel during qualify and our staged entry, but could change into our team channel just before the race starts. Adding channels will take me the time it takes to write their name so no problem.

*********

For me this must have been the best and most exiting race Ive taken part of in this championship. The amount of racers on track and the possibility for rain made it just awesome. Even though I fought long down the leader board the racing was very clean and I had tons of fun.
And when it started rain it was time to pit, I have to admit I thought about if I soon had to go in and change to intermediate tyres. But luckily it seems all the cars on track kept the racing line dry for a long time.

I'm really happy with 7th place on this one since I'm here for the racing it self and today I got tons of racing. Good race goes out to everyone.

Congrats to my teammate Arkano for taking home the victory 👍

I had a okay race but still a lot of fun untill I got disconnected and I was so close to throw my router out the window! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I hope next week will go smoother for me without technical handicaps

Great pictures , love the podium picture , lol .

Its great to see everyone adjusting to this new tyre wear and really making the 2 stopper on the medium work .

That Arta NSX was just too fast though , amazing pace by Arkano .

Can't wait for Erik to update the thread so I can see the weight for the guys in the ballast club . Them extra kg's are going to have those fast guys crying quite soon .

SSR5 next, 45 laps , I don't think the NSX will dominate here , well I hope not . Its about time us GTRs have a time to shine .

Amazing pictures, i liked it ALOT.. that was a crazy race.. was battling with Immortal and Falcon the first few laps until falcon made a little mistake wich cause me and Immortal to run a big gap and fight it out for the 2nd spot together. ran 1 extra lap on softs wich caused me the whole race to finish at the top but i actually don't mind it.. i see the reason as the race between me and immortal was so intense i actually forgot to pit at the lap i planned.

I wasn't going to make the finish line on the amount of fuel i still had left so i had no option and took my 3rd stop for some fresh tires and abit of fuel with me.. and it actually helped me to get the 4th spot after Erik & Anastasis ( i think ) caught me while i was in pit, but last lap i saw Digi in my map & saw he was going very slow and his tires were worn really bad so took the chance and stripped him of his 4th spot at the end.

Hopefully we will get a sweet Highlight of the race, & congrats to the guys at the podium, ballast had a very bad affect on the tires and I'm really glad i had the max points without having exra ballast for next race!

Glad we didn't have to ''Adapt'' just like Erik said!

Watching the replay again , this was really an amazing race

I can't believe immortal is so fast on the medium tires , there is something different about his gear ratios , take a look when you can but his gears are different compared to every other gtr

ProPersian could hardly keep up with him and PP was on the soft tire , that's just insane .

I think today I will spend some time at Route X trying to tune my gears to make them like Immortals .

Immortal if you have Route X please tell me your 400 m and 1000 m time

Congratz to arkano.

I expected the NSX to be unbeatable on Monza, whitout any practise i was average 1,5 second faster. Whit not to many tyreswear.

If i now look to the leaderboard i am very dissapointed what could have been.
But just everything went wrong today.

At race time (its late for me) and i got tired and not so concetrated anymore. I made big mistakes.

-At one time when doing a mistake my steer kicks around whit the strong T500-force my wire just wraps around my arm of my headphones which are wired connected to my laptop for teamspeak. My laptop went one the floor.

-My steer came off the table, needed to make it stick again.

-when i made a mistake at the ascari-exit (on the exit i never did one mistake) i hit the wall. i had damage. On the straight the damage disappeared and it kicks my car back in the grass and i ended up in the gravel of parabolica.

- I have a wheel problem whit the steer, it didn't make it easier to be consistent.

- The rain came on the perfect moment and could use my soft to catch adam back and possible the group whit Ana, erik, pro, etc...
but in the first corner i braked to late.

- But whit alle those big mistakes i couldn't reach the fininsh becaus of worn out tyres.:

- Is there something i forget?

I just want to forget this race and move on.

just did some laps on SSR5 1.18.3xx is the best with last nights tune

So I'm on my forth cop of coffee, and are wondering if I should use the new point system Maxitsu talked about or should I use the old one.. If we are going to change I can just do it now so I don't have to re-do a lot.

Ballast for SSR5
Falcon: 60kg+10kg Car weight 1170kg
Skengdigi 20kg-10kg ------- 1140kg
ProPersian 40kg-20kg------- 1150kg
Arkano +60kg -------------- 1160kg
IMMORTALPILOT +40kg ----- 1170kg

Oh I wonder who gave IMMORTALPILOT that gear box :scared:
