It's not much I can do if the resistor is broken. But if it's about a year old there should a warranty on the product and they don't repair it. They just give you a new one since there most likely isn't worth the work of repairing it. It's much cheaper to just give out a new one.
My DFGT got a broken connection where you plug in the power cord and I would have fixed it myself in 10 minutes if I had the parts. But I was told to come to the store and bring my wheel. Got a new one, no questions asked.. well they asked how it happened. But that was it..
Also this problem ProPersian is talking about here I've heard before from Phil, his DFGT got a brake pedal witch hang on.
The best thing to do is to go were you bought it and tell them how it is. You might just pick up a new wheel the same day or they want to take a look on it, but you most likely get a new wheel if the warranty isn't broken. Making the spring stiffer might have ruined that chance though.

If you get out early, 8:50pm UTC/GMT I count everyone in the ICGTC lounge, then I make a open lobby with that exact number. I also take a look at the forum to see if someone is close to get online but are a bit late then I make room for them also.
If you can't get out early, well **** happens and I might see you in our practice sessions.

Edit: My current best on medium is 1:18.502 and my tyre wear seems ok, I haven't tried to soft on my current setup yet but I expect it to be at least 2 seconds quicker. I'll be on around 2 to 3 hours before the race to further tweak my setup, I deffinitely don't think I have the speed to keep up with the leaders tomorrow but who know what could happen, but i'll most likely make some stupid mistake as usual though putting me near the back again lol.

I see a lot of guys signed up, also I see Netherdragon in the room now so we are a lot of guys on the track today.
So make sure you give yourself room during the qualify, the guy in front have the rights over the car behind. If you gain on someone you just didn't give yourself enough room.

Awesome turn out, awesome race.
Absolutely perplexed at how I managed to finish 7th, but I'm very happy I did. I set my 'benchmark' as Adam and despite our various comings together during the race I came out on top Although it's probably because he looked like he was on the phone or something for a couple of laps.
Congrats to Skendigi for winning, and apologies for holding you up slightly coming out of the pits, it's really hard to see who's coming and I wasn't going to risk giving away a grid position to someone I thought was about to lap me but wasn't. Then when Netherdragon didn't seem to let you past I threw caution to the wind and I just went all out to take Netherdragon.
SSR5 certainly isn't an NSX track, especially when you've got a healthy amount of success ballast, but I feel like I picked up some decent points today, all things considered. I feel like I could have possibly beaten Falcon, or come a lot closer to him had Joey not spun out infront of me & Skendigi and if I hadn't cut across Adam at turn 1 and accidentally caused him to spin me.
Also nice to see the Arta team finishing with both cars today and picking up some points
Now, onwards to Suzuka!

Not a good race for me, started 7th or 8th (forgot) and was try to take it easy and I don't know what happened but I think me and adam collided going through a turn side by side and I crashed and spun out which made someone else run into me. The race then went fine until the end of my soft tyre stint when I stayed out 1 lap too long causing me to have severe understeer. Then I forgot which lap but I ended up spinning at I think it was turn 9 just before the hairpin causing Arkano and I think someone else to crash into me (sorry about that )and on the final stint I tried to conserve my tyres but on the final lap I ran out of rear tyres making me spin almost every turn and lost 2 more places.
Oh well, it's Suzuka next week, one of my better tracks so should be good.

Very happy whit the result. To bad persian couldn't get me at the end. Now i have ballast 
. Still happy whit my first podium ever. A little unexpected, on the podium i had to be at Monza. Funny how it turns out. Maybe i wanted to much at Monza. Anyway to bad i constantly had to manage my tyres today, If i could drive my own pace i could follow Skendigi. Was a bit afraid i couldn't manage a stint of 12 laps somwhere in the race. But i did it. Did no mistakes besides some hick-ups.
I want to say thanks to backmarkers because they were very clean to make me pass.
I had a scary moment when Immortal passed me, suddenly te game lagged a lot. Screan tearing everywere for a lap or so. I was affraid i would got DC'd. like when the lobby started.
