Looks very close at the top me and Skendigi tied at the top with persian only 4 points behind. You're only ahead Skendigi because of your 5th at Monza compaired to my 6th at SSR5. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Yes Falcon I expect this season to be very close

Someone let me know when they are online for practice

Here's the video of Saturdays race at SSR5. :) It was my first attempt at editing a race video so don't expect anything flashy ;).

I'll get to the Monza video sometime this week.

I know our rules say you should complete 75% of the race to get points for last position, but we haven't really followed that rule in a long time and it's about time to re write it.
You came back in and then you kept random people out and you show interest for whats going on. So you will get points for last place JoeTruck. I know it's a rather small price for a pretty boring thing like dropping out like you did. But I guess it's better than nothing.

I watched the replay and watching 14 cars go through the tunnel in lap 1 is just awesome. It's simply massive ;) Looking forward to a big grid on Suzuka also now.

Well I didn't drop out, I broke internet connection with you guys. I would never back out of a race that's not my style. 👍

It says what the music is if you go to the YouTube page, 'Dance, Dance' by Fallout Boy :)

I'll watch the video in a sec.

Cool video but i find your long videos bether.

Awesome video, much better than the hour long videos imo 👍

My only problem, is that there isn't enough of me ;D :sly: I'd say try to focus the people in the top 6 for the start, so we can see the first cars go into turn 1 and move the ICGTC logo to the bottom right so we can see the positions :) Allllssoooo a shot or two of people in the pits is always fun.

You could even do the start twice, once from the TV camera angle and again from an on-board shot of someone who got a good/really good start.

You did miss a bunch of action, at least from my race, like my spin at turn 1 with Adam, and the other spin with Adam and Troylee through the chicane, but don't worry about it. For Suzuka, I'll make an effort to write down when any action happens to help you out if you want :)

Dying inside for a Monza video ;)

EDIT: I've watched that video like three times already in the last 20 minutes. I really do love our races, everything is clean, fun and full of action. Think I'll be on for most of tomorrow practising, I'd jump on now if it wasn't almost 1am

I also watched it a few times already, I even downloaded it and played it on my home theater screen. Awesome! I have to agree it misses a lot of action, but it's not easy to focus on everyone all the time and to know all the action that occur.

If Arkano could help you find the action it might help, but we can all contribute. And Joey can be the judge of whats ends up in the video.

I like that our logo got our way into the video, but Arkano got a point about moving it.
And even though it's not my style of music it was really suitable for these kind of videos.

Keep up the good work Joey 👍

Great work Joey , I can't wait to see the Monza video .

Suzuka will be twice the challenge that SSR5 was , I think I am halfway there in finding the best setup .

I am hoping for similar conditions to Monza , not much sun and light rain :)

My best is a 1 57 0xx on the medium tire

Great video thanks for the effort, i do agree with the rest that there was bunch of great take overs that could get into the clip but i think it has to be with the help of the stewards to find and discuss about it if its worth to put it in or not & let joey do what he' s good at.. haven't had much time to practice suzuka that much but about to go and see what can be improved :)

did 1.55.905 with mediums..

deffinately going to be practising heavily for suzuka.

the last couple of races have shown I have stood still where as everyone else is moving forward in terms of pace and consistancy.

I take it a 1.55 on mediums is what I should be aiming for then?

Also hows the tyewear on suzuka guys? I have images of it being pretty extreme

I might be on today or I might not, just fixed so I could fix my real car for free. But it depends on if the workshop have a available service ramp. Been trying to change my exhaust for 2-3 weeks now and still not been able to do it. I refuse to do it outdoor in -5 Celsius.
If the service ramp is unavailable I be on practicing Suzuka. I think the possibility for rain is higher in Japan than we had in Italy. So I guess rain practice could be needed, still need to be able to do a clean wet lap. I always seem to mess up corner one.

1:55's on medium must be qualify lap, I can't go faster than 1.58 without messing up my tyres in one lap.

If I a run a 1 55 on the medium it will be a miracle .

I was very happy running a 57 0 last night .

This track is the most challenging one so far in terms of car setup .

Everyday I get a little better and usually by thursday or friday I have my setup for the race .

Practice makes perfect so I advise all you drivers to get as many laps in as you can , even if its 10 a day its better than 0 .

I guess you did a 57 with ballast, witch is very good. I can do 56's but then my tyres are dead in one lap and I have to be very lucky on every corner. It's a bit of a risk to go that fast. Could just as easily end up in the gravel and to be honest I much rather practice race pace than hot laps. I guess I'll be starting at the back if the standard time is 55's ;)

I do have a little extra I could give maybe 3 tenths and yes ofcourse it was with ballast .

I am strictly practicing race pace and I will be hoping to get lucky like last race , I'm aiming for 5th this race .

i got some time this morning to completely adjust my suspension and it worked out great, still some little adjustments can be made throughout the next practice on the circuit but definitely all is going well, aiming for 1st place for sure this time

I'm actually struggling with the rear tires here , I blame the ballast .

If I do solve this issue or at least tone it down a bit I will have podium pace.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of drivers use the hard tire here as well.

Just spent 90 minutes going around Suzuka, couldn't beat 1:58.080...I'll sleep on it and hope I can beat it later in the week. Kept coming within a tenth of that time, but couldn't beat it no matter what I did to my setup. I hate it when this happens.

About the video, it's kind of hard to find all the action in the replays by myself with 13+ drivers and 40 odd laps. If everyone could note which laps you all have some intense battle or crashes and spins or something to help me find them easier for the next videos that would be great. ;)

Onto Suzuka, I did a few laps the other night and found my old setup to be useless here now :(, I had to change it quite a bit to reduce the twitchiness of the car. Also Degner 2 (T9) keeps catching me out making me spin.

i was having some nice practice races with digi last night, got a phone with made me to go outside quick even forgot to turn off my ps3 till 11 pm.. my setup is luckily looking great till now..

I'm about to go in the ICGTC Lounge, if anyone wants to join for some practice ...
