I said i would switch cars whit immortal But i would decide after i test some other cars!

Anyway i find your way to "pick a car" rule very confusing. If u are dedicated you may keep the car if you decide before 27th. It seems to be it does not count for me while others may switch cars before 27th while others have to do it after.

I was planning to go one whit the Motul after not so great testing sessions. However to avoid some discussions i will pick another car on sunday like everyone else.

yeah to test them. But i admit i wan't clear there. However, why did you send that PM then? Anyways, like i said, i will pick another car next sunday. Whatever car is left to pick. 👍


What i tried to ask: Is why Immortal/Hurley/Falcon can change there car before sunday. I think its fine to give them the decision to keep there car for there dedication. Is it becaus they team up? I ask this becaus i missed somwhere i could change car before the 27th if we make a team.

I know we do signups here, but we experience people do that and don't show, I'm not going to be mad about that because thing beside racing on a PS3 can happen. But still is good to have a list there so we can see what we expect.

We also use this lounge as practice and warmup before the race and during the week, you are also allowed to be the first guy to enter and set it up any time. This way we can join you and have a more fun time practicing than sitting around doing it alone.

It's race day and I will keep checking if you add this account to your friend list tomorrow, but don't add it to you friend list 10 minutes before the race and expect me to reply to it. I'm busy enough by then.

well i guess you are pretty "save" whit that car. Everyone seems to want the yellowhat tomica, GTrs, NSX's and maybe Lexus.

Its RACEDAY people , see you all on track today . It should be great fun , GVS is a nice track for these gt500 cars.

Just a reminder to everyone to keep 2 wheels on track at all times , there are 2 run off areas i can think of at GVS that a driver can abuse to get some extra time here , this is illegal so please remember 2 wheels on track always

Also remember the blue flag rule during the race , If you are going to be lapped give way to the car(s) in the safest manner , use your discression .

I never enjoyed GVS like i did today.

Today i tried to learn to drive whit shifting instead of tuning my car to be fast on a autopilot car. At the end it went pretty good. only in the race when there is pressure it went disastrous. Lucky i didn't drive a real car becaus my team should double the budget for some transmission Box's. I am happy whit the result today. I had certainly the speed to challenge Doc & Erik but becaus my bad shifting and tyrewear i could not reach them. Lucky i could profit from there troubles & mistakes.

Anyway it seems to be the hard tyre is not my friend so i will not spend time to beat you guys on the leaderboards. I am gonna learn to drive whit MT this season and i am hoping it makes me a better driver at the end of the season.
i thought i would end last, thats why i am so happy whit 6th.

Driving whit Mt has it pro's & con's. The biggest pro: it keeps me concentrated and more carefully. Downside: I am taking the corners in the wrong gear

I have seen alot of mistakes previous season were people crashes into other drivers or cut corners for overtake. Then they yield back for the other driver.

I would like to suggest you do it before the next corner. Alot of times drivers yielded when it suited them the best , to keep slipstream, stay ahead of someone or for any reason possible?

The race was awesome , I had a great start from 3rd and got 1st place in the 1st corner , traded overtakes with Immortal for the first 4 or 5 laps til I finally opened a gap . My mistake was a spin out in the 2nd half of the race .

Congrats to Nissman for a great drive

The midfield looked to have a great battle , I will watch the replay tomorrow to see how everyones race went.

Enjoyed the race up until my wheel overheated and I had to park my car. Had a decent start but went wide in corner 1 in a lap and I think it was doc who followed me. Got pushed onto the road and I saw Adam comes around the corner. I didn't know what to do so I think I hit the gas to avoid him, but that actually made me hit him. Also Maxitsu was involved I think. Got heavy damage to my cars suspension and engine.

Lost a lot of places on it, but worked my way back into a rhythm and tried my best to get back into my starting position. Had some nice racing with quite a few guys witch was clean as it should be. Some bumping of course, but that's competitive racing.

And half way lap 39 of 44 my wheel started to give a way a stink of warm electronic and since it's not a cheap wheel I decided I park my car ASAP. First I want out of the way for traffic behind me then I just went slowly back to pit to park out of the way completely.

I guess it was to warm here for racing, messured the room to be over 30degree Celsius, I was all wet and my wheel almost burned. I guess I be searching for a modification to get the wheel cooler. Or maybe I just install a air condition here!!

I'd like to nominate myself for back marker of the race award, getting lapped by everyone and letting them through.

I have a question though, if I'm in 11th and getting lapped by 10th am I allowed to try and unlap myself since I'm trying to catch up to him?

Is the next race Spa?

Watching the replay again , Falcon and I had such awesome starts from 3rd and 4th , if Falcon had the room he would of been 1st or 2nd in the 1st corner .

I know this is just the preseason but I'm hoping I can keep up this form when we start in Fuji .

I see your point but you are still a back marker so the only chance you can get to overtake then is if they are on old tyres so they are holding you up. You can't unlap yourself and hold the guy up because you will need to let them back past immediately.

I was not really involved. I gained 3 place though. From my point of view i saw Doc & you going wild in that corner Adam couldn't really avoid you guys and lost some speed. When I was coming I saw you parked on my driving line. There was space on the inside of the corner but i braked to late to make it. I Almost closed my and turned my wheel to the left and i luckly only scratched your paint. i Didn't lose much speed so i could take adam.
I was not driving well in the beginning but Hurley went off after wheel problem, i took you three in that corner. Everything went lucky there for me. i even wasn't that far of Falcon at that point. But becaus i had to pit to soon and put to much fuel in my car i could't keep up i think.


Seems u have alot of problems whit your T500 lately. Its not normal its overheating that fast; I think i had here the same temperature. But here my laptop froze (again). at one point everyone was quite even Falcon. And yes it just was my laptop that again died. need a new one. Probably going for a PC.

I think the overheating is just due to the temperature of the room Erik plays in , I believe its an attic so its going to be hot now in the summer , a fan might solve the problem and also help keep Erik cool during the races . I think I need to get one for myself as well .

Watched most of the replay was a great battle in the midfield with Maxi and Doc , saw you guys were close for most of the race .

Gonzalez is just awesome on his tires , I could learn a few things from him .

Very nice racing yesterday. Intense battle of strategies with SkengD, he was on a 3 stopper me on 4 stopper.
I had an awful start, droped down to 4th behind Immortal, Falcon and Sken. Didnt want to rush things as I knew it was a long race ahaed of us. GVS is extremly hard on tyres so I concentrated keeping my tyres in good condition. As I had a few GT500 races at GVS before I knew that 4 stopper was probally going to be the fastest strategy. I had some bad experiance with 3 stopper at GVS in our event and its really not smart to go with less pitstops here as this track, it eats up tyres and at the end of the stints you start to lose large chunks of time.
Didn't know what would be the outcome till the last stint when I came out of my last stop just behind Sken. Drove a few laps behind him, I knew I had much better tyres at that time. After a few laps I made my move on Sken on breaking in the 1st corner.
After that I pulled away for a comfortable win at the end.

We do have 16 regular drivers now, but after a long season 3 I guess some of them deserved a few week off. Some had exams, some had parties to go to and one had Saturday work that ended yesterday I think.
And by experience there will be room for a reserve driver. And as he is on teamspeak during the race we could even tell him to join if someone drops out last minute. Like Bronco yesterday day having some pedal problems I understood.

Spa will be interesting , the field was very close at Autumn Ring but a bit more spread out that I expected at Grand Valley . So Spa will be another measuring stick of how everyone is handling these hard tires.

I don't doubt you Arkano, but I can tell you the challenge have been great now, these new guys are really good. They are also very clean so season 4 could be a blast

ANNOUNCEMENT

IMMORTALPILOT actually think the MOTUL have worse tyrewear than the YELLOWHAT so he abandon me. So team Motul have a new driver to announce.
The seat was offered to nissman and he said yes.

I could have given it back to Maxitsu as he used to be here, but he seem to like the Xanavi just as much yesterday and I want a season where I'm not going side by side with my team mate all season long.

As IMMORTALPILOT have been going back on this he have been pushed back to have to select cars starting today at 18:00 UTC 7pm BST and 20:00CEST

And to IMMORTALPILOT thanks for making me work extra today, it was the track that eat the tyres, not the car. But you had it almost your way.

Erik when you see the replay my tyre waer was absolutly the worst from all drivers.
It was not possible to drive a race with this tyre wear.
