Your most expensive car yet? Do you think it even counts as a car for that Le Mans winning classic car trophy?

My guess is the Mazda 787b will be the third car needed for the trophy.

Most expensive car by far was the Mclaren F1... thus far it hasn't been worth it. At least it cured my FOMO on that wonderful engine growl

Edit: Could also be the F1 GTR '95 for the trophy since that car took two podiums at Le Mans that year

I bought the GTO and now I am broke too. In one month or two I may be able to buy another car at LCD. Maybe sooner if the updates give us some bones to chew.
I was running at that rate too until decided to say **** it and do the "rubber-banding" at Pan-AM. The ridiculous thing is even doing that 8hr a day I can only keep up with LCD and UCD cars and don't have enough to buy from BC or buy tuning parts. It's not for everyone but I have other games I play so I'm not going to let GT7 take up all my time, nor am I willing to wait until 2024 to have all the cars I want. Assuming they actually fix the rate at which we make credits I'll stop since there would presumably be fun content to run that also pays well, but until that day comes I have zero qualms about correcting PD's "mistake"

I am against that kind of thing. Even if the PS5 appears to be less power hungry than the PS4, for me it is non-sensical to run a hardware to farm credits for a game. I do many things to lower my carbon footprint, and playing video games is one of the areas where I continue to have a footprint just for my pleasure. So I will not follow that path.

That thing said, I don't blame anyone doing it. And I understand why someone would do it.

I hear ya. I set console resolution to the lowest it will go, turn off hdr, etc and obviously keep the TV off. Just got my bill for March yesterday and it's essentially the same as it was for March last year, $2 more, and that was with running the script for maybe 7 days that month. But it's also been colder this spring so we've had to use the heat longer than normal so running it when I'm at work is drawing very little power.

But yeah, the principle is what you're referring to, I get it. I used to care far more than I do now but no matter how hard I tried it seemed like no one else was doing their part. My local area even cancelled the recycling program... For years I was driving it myself 18 miles to drop it off, then I read that most of it was being burned, sometimes off-shored half-way around the globe and THEN being burned. Kind of stopped trying at that point. Apathy is contagious

Bought my most expensive car today and reached collectors level 50 :D

Buying that car got me to level 49. It's replaced the Sauber Mercedes C9 for the world 800pp championship. I still use the C9 for the one race at Le Mans. But it will only be the best until the F1 shows up.

I'm very glad you said this. I echo it entirely. When said out loud it's almost always taken as an attack so I've kept my mouth shut.

I really thought about grinding for the Mercedes, but decided against it. It's definitely a great car, but it's "only" a Gr. 2 and I just prefer the Nissan and it's just cheaper.
I don't think so because the Mercedes isn't much faster than the Nissan in particular.

For me it was just pure nostalgia and the car I recognised from my childhood. ❤️
