Perhaps more than in most threads, people seem to go the reach conclusion, then find evidence to support conclusion route in here. It frankly becomes quite difficult to take either side of the argument seriously.

Here's why you're going to lose this argument: you have to prove that all 1490 knowingly and deliberately lied; you have to prove the worst in all of them. I, on the other hand, simply need to demonstrate that one of them was acting in good faith - even if the other 1399 were not - thereby disproving your argument.

So they are just innocent children who forgot their age. I wonder how many of them guessed their ages wrong on the high side vs. the low side. You'd think it would be a roughly 50/50 split right if it's all innocent and nothing nefarious is going on.

Can you imagine the uproar if a woman, during a sexual assault trial, was told that she should have not provoked her attacker or walked through a certain area of town? I thought we left that attitude behind 50 years ago.
