I think that any cars and tracks you have purchased as DLC should definately be transferrable to GT6. I also think that you should have the option to either be given so many credits as a previous GT5 owner or say 10 cars from your garrage to transfer. This would allow people to transfer the more expensive cars like SuperGTs etc needed for league races that would otherwise take months to be able to afford!

My vote is for starting fresh. Though if GT6 is for the PS3, they should do a feature/easter egg where cars from your GT5 garage can occasionally show up in the used car dealership.

I think they'll keep the premium cars and loose the standard ones. You should get a choice to keep the premium cars. unless the tuning options don't correlate in which case sod it, wipe the slate clean and start again. I don't care. I know what cars I want. D1GP cars. I don't race anymore, just tandem online in drift rooms.

I see where your coming from but if you do league racing (I do SuperGt racing in a league) it will take a while for people to go through the motions to save up enough credits to but a 800,000 cr car. Thats why I feel we should be able to bring certain cars accross. Also if you purcahse a car it needs to appear in your garage from day one in the new game not just be an option to buy it again. To get around the above situation if you could buy and download any car that might be a good idea and have no limit on the cars that can be gifted to friends. As mentioned having a propper online dealership where people can either trade/swap, buy with credits or with cash from other people and tuners.

If I recall, didn't we get some money in GT4 if we had a GT3 save???

Yes, sir! Even though when I start GT4 from scratch in the coming year or two I'll probably just get-going from the beginning not just with the 100,000 C. but also tough-it-out through the license tests for all the bronze-silver-gold prize cars like getting all the gold prize cars in GT1/2, but espicially in GT3 since getting the gold prize cars in 3 was the only real way to make decent progress. (i.e. Impreza Rally Car '01 to burn through all the rally races and some races involving cars of that quality like the BL GT World Champ. and gather MASSIVE credits.)

This has never been in a previous GT game (Full garage import) and I don't expect it to be in GT6, although some sort of carry over (Bit of money, handful of cars) will probably feature.
