Why spending much money on a conversion while he problebly could buy a real Skyline? Still, looks really nice!

It's pretty much a Skyline anyway, not exactly but loosely based off the Skyline.

Drivetrain conversions are common too, twin turbo 300+hp 4WD station wagon :mischievous:

I think there was a 700hp one here in NZ that ran low 11's on the quarter...

...with room in the back for your family and all your luggage :D

Exactly, they are based off the same platform and use the same drivetrain. They are essentially a Skyline wagon (obviously the looks of a standard Stagea hides that).

Re: the stagea, Autech made a version with the R34 front, and full GTR running gear, I believe it might be called the RS260, but don't quote me on that. Mental machines tho.

For all the drifting fanboys, just found this for sale:
AE85 Turbo Levin
4AGZE, well AGTE, with 313 horse at the wheels on pump gas
High 11's down the quarter
$11500 NZ

The Nissan Stagea Autech Version 260RS doesnt have the R34 front, no production Stageas did.

Fair enough then, but I've seen two for sale in New Zealand in the last few weeks (dads looking for a new wagon), both had R34 fronts, and both claimed to be Autech versions. I figured not too many people would graft on front ends like that, looks like I'm wrong...

Edit: then again, they had R33 GTR running gear...wierd

Considering it pretty much is a R33 wagon with a different skin it doesnt seem wierd to me. Even the non Autech versions all have R33/34 drivetrains.

I know that, but not too many have GTR gear do they? And i meant wierd as in R33 GTR gear with the R34 GTR front, which I'm guessing is not too common.

Just the Autech 260RS and Nismo 260RS versions have GTR drivetrain. The R34 front is personal preference of the owner (as this isnt factory), as much as I love the R33 GTR front I couldnt imagine anyone swaping the already lovely Autech 260RS front with a R33 GTR front.

Gee, I know somebody on this forum with a car JUST like that, minus the TOmmy Kaira sticker. :sly:

Hmmm, it does look familiar doesnt it.

The intercooler only cools the hot air from the turbo.

I love big intercoolers, but not only does that one look like ****, it's completely unnecessary.
