*Faints due to rotary overload........ Although some are a little questionable, but the 7 can't lose!

*Coughs and hacks; rubs eyes*

Who's burning all the oil? The rotaries or the Toyotas?

Yeah but now imagine a K20 in the boot... Lotus Elwhat?

True. It would have been nice to see a small platform MR car from Honda, and the Del Sol could have made it a reality, but Honda stuck with their traditional FF ways. :( Heck, if someone had some spare millions, they could make an NSX powered Del Sol, and see just how fast the chassis could go. ;)

The only thing I think the frame needs is some strategic stiffening. I'm not talking about typical bolt-on or weld-in cages, but stuff you might sick an engineer on to do some math and all that stuff. I think with a stout weight reduction the car would be a fantastic machine.

Honda has a small MR car. The beat...

and this all reminds me of a mid engined integra I saw somewhere... OH! and there was a mid engined del sol on h-t for a while...

You should send the car off to Opera Tuning. ;) They love to do that kind of stuff. ;)
I'm inspired by this: http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/features/0611sccp_opera_performance_honda_rsx/index.html
I want to duplicate some of the methods used on my car. ;)

PS. We didn't get the Beat, Time Attack, so I couldn't really consider it in the running. :( Although, if you want a stout example of one, look at Backyard Specialties' track car. ;)

Oh yes I've seen backyards beat. Pure awesomeness is all that is. There are a few beats here in the states to... I'd love to get my hands on one...

I'll be posting a few pics of a SR20 powered caterham/kit car modeled after one, that my friend saw on a mountain road nearby. Of course, it had to be the day that I decided I didn't want to go too.

There were 4 cars in total, one sr powered, the other had corvette wheels on his, which means they are very wide, and one was in fact, a real Caterham.
