If they weren't so expensive, I think my brother would go for a set.

I just found a set in semi-good shape (some rust on the nuts) for about 360 bucks. With some service, they'd be as good as new.

I always thought Ronals were lame VW nerd stuff. If you want to be legit but still have that look, call up some local rally garages.

"Legit"? Ronals aren't "legit"? "Lame VW nerd stuff"? The only thing I hate about them is that you almost only get them in 7Jx15, even too narrow for Mk1s. Search up Ronal Racings by the way - you could learn something..

That orange one is actually for hire by a company over here. Quite a few companies let you hire a resto'd type 2 for a holiday trip.

It's not a pile of fail: it's ugly as hell, but it DOES appear to be something of a streamliner, probably for Bonneville speed trials or something.

The blue RX-7 is nothing but pure sex and actually has some uniqueness to it rather than a lot of the trend influenced and/or generic function-focused track-goer stuff I've been seeing a bit too much.

It's also not the only RX-7 I've seen with the rear wheels covered. I'd post up the video, but everyone would freak out because it's got street racing in it.

Yes. They've been on sale in California for a few months now. It seems like other dealerships have gotten then within the past month or so.

Yeah, not too bad. I'm still on the fence whether those are aftermarket Elise headlights or just very similar. I wasn't aware of any such part available. Maybe just strikingly similar in shape/layout.
