Enough with the Germans now, this thread lacks a TON of decent turbo cars. Looks like I'll have to make up for it then... Some images form supraforums.com:
Nope, I've seen three alone here. I never knew they were that rare!
Here's one...
The other two I couldn't photograph, but there's one around my village I'll see if I can get a pic.
Although they could have been standard red Type-R's with bodykits because they're 10-a-penny over here (e.g. below). Are the RR's only available in red? Are the standard Type-R available in red?
Not seen an RR in the UK yet, and only seen one of the standard (if you could call them that) Type R sedans. Amazing cars though, I love everything about them. Just give me the keys and an empty race circuit and I'd be a happy man.
I must admit, apart from the Compacts which suit the square lines (though I know I'm in a minority with that opinion), the E36 models are probably my least favorite 3-series - though I don't mean that in a derogatory way, as apart from the E30 which is way out in front, I like all 3-series pretty closely! I think all models offer something subtly different enough to make them unique.
What doesn't help the E36 I think, is that so many of them have been abused by now as they're available so cheaply. When you can get an E36 316i sedan for £250 in this country, it takes away some of the kudos the model used to have...
Yeah, the red lights actually look really good, when they have so much potential to be tacky. As for badass though, it's not quite up there with that Corrado on the previous page...
