The S2K that started the "discussion" is in amidst those pics. Cept it's black and on white wheels.
I think it looks better with the new light green than black but that front lip ruins it IMO.

I hope this hardparker crap dies out soon or something. Such awesome cars with awesome parts on them, and then the closest thing they see to a track is the few that are also daily drivers. The rare occasional car sees a track, but not without having the entire car covered in tape and the driver putting around the track under his mental understanding of what "fast" is and what a car can do.
I like to look at the cars, but I lost my interest in them and their drivers years ago, and even more as I meet them personally.

When I was a teenage kid, before I owned a car, I looked forward to being a part of the "scene", and now that I've experienced it and learned what it is, I just despise it. Building a track car and not driving it even remotely hard. What a failure.

im sure there are others that share the same opinion and keep the genuine interest alight
some want the car for the sake of having one to fill out the shopping list of what kids that dont have one deem suitable and be known as 'that guy who owns that cool car who keeps showing off but never uses it'...others want the car for actually using it properly and building and using to its purpose!i saw a road run today...a huge line of MX5s out for a cruise, a handful perhaps owned by guys that wanted the car for its potential and just for being a good car, a majority, as far as i could see, were just fulfilling their midlife crisis

I don't care, I just hate it to the point where I'm skeptical of every car and need some kind of confirmation that they actually drive the thing before I'll have any respect for the car or the person that built it. No respect is due for having money.
Am I jealous? Hell yes I am, I wish I had half the money those guys put into their cars.
This is the way I see it:
Guy builds show car - takes it to shows = Success
Guy builds performance oriented car - drives it as such = Success
Guy builds track car - takes it to shows = Fail. At least people get to see what a fast car he doesn't drive. 5 JDM points for him.👍
Every time I talk to one of those guys they are completely clueless about their cars except for the names of the mad tyte jdm parts on it. No understanding of physics or driving theory.
