Wow, the more I see the E90 (91/92? The new designations confuse me) M3, the more I like the E46. Though the black one with orange accents is pretty sweet.

Yup, they havent got to the engine mods yet... so we'll see what they come up with... I like the way they did that M3 as well... looks mean and not to over the top...

The spaces every few inches could be to allow room for expansion and contraction when they get hot and cool off. That's what leads to cracks in typical rotors after all. Think of it like the lines on a concrete sidewalk. If the whole thing was one solid slab of concrete there would be nasty cracks forming constantly, even more than it already does.
Not with cuts that big.

I know there's a 30+page thread on Honda-Tech, but I haven't really checked through it yet.

Why do so many people stretch their tires? Doesnt look good at all IMO and its probably not good for the tires either...

Hating on stretch is soooo old it's not even funny.. :) If you wanna go low and you want to have low offset wheels, you need to stretch to have space. Not about fads at all. Yeah, some do it because it's considered cool and yeah, low offsets and extreme lowering wasn't the way you did it earlier, but that's just the times moving on really. Like I said, being a bitch about this is so old.

It's not about hating it's about have a personal opinion, which everyone is entitled to have and express freely.

IMO, the rear of that Civic just looks plain stupid. Some may like that look (which is fairenough), but to me the rim is way too far outside the bodywork and the amount of negative camber just looks wrong.

Fully sick page yeah!

It's not about hating it's about have a personal opinion, which everyone is entitled to have and express freely.

But it's not about liking it or not (I couldn't care less what people think of mine or others cars), but about knowing when to keeping your mouth shut.. Or laying off the keyboard.. :)

Anyway, since I'm bitching, I'll shut up and post some pics now:

If you wanna go low and you want to have low offset wheels, you need to stretch to have space.

At that point such things as flared (or more subtly modified) wheelarches usually come to play. Anyway, a picture found earlier in this thread:

In all seriousness, what happens when the blue BMW hits a bump at speed? Do the front wheels have zero suspension travel or will there be a funny noise and a pair of shredded tyres? There's seemingly no room for the wheel to move upwards at all and I'm taking into account the space inside the arch, the rubber is almost touching the arch as it is. Surely the suspension can't magically retract inwards a couple of inches all of a sudden? The same thing goes for the majority of cars lowered to the ground with low ET wheels.

My own car is so stiff it doesn't rub. With stretch you atleast make the problem a bit smaller as the tyre is shaped like the arch, but it'll still rub-a-dub-dub. Doesn't matter too much though. Haters need not comment on that last sentence :)

much coolness and superbly clean too!
woulda thought with the good job on the vinyl they would bother to do the cut on the edge of the front bumper and fender :dopey:

lol Yeah I just noticed that the one side is different hahaha. Thanks for pointing that out, and thanks for commenting on cleanliness. It was the first time I personally handwashed my car, usually it was by the pressure washer. :P Now If I could find some nice replacement mats......
