See now the car would have been hot if it had air ride suspension . But still those rims are to big for that car it makes it loook goofy.

Of course not, if you don't like it, you don't like it and there's no point in faking. But do one always have to state one's opinion on everything? ;) I could for instance tell you how much I hate modlists in signatures because it makes you seem like a poser bragging of his expensive parts, but why should I if it pleases you?
Except I don't always give my opinion on everything. There's been plenty of cars in this thread I've let others share their comments on.

I'm sorry we're not all like you & believe that we should keep our opinions to ourselves on things we don't like.

It's not just about you, its about the mentality.. But hey, who cares eh? :)

Or a massive drop.. Mmmm, yummy.

Okay, nuff bs

Maybe there should be a separate thread for "extremely lowered" cars so we don't have to hear this every time.

You'd just hear the same thing in a different thread. I for one like uber lowered cars, I think it's cool. Granted I don't think it's all that practical though considering I've owned something that's been lowered in the past.

I don't like them, but I'm tired of seeing the same argument popping up every time. Do we really need to see people restate their opinion? Plus we had a thread about that already.

I just want to say, that Silvia with massive wheels used to look like this:

Yes, it's been ruined. Does anyone, really, honestly think it looks better with the massive Volks on it now?

I thought it was a 240 with a S15 front end conversion on it, but after looking at it again I see it's RHD, so it must be an import.

Yeah, it is a real S15. I was suprised to see it was in the US.

Oh yes. Oh yes oh yes oh yes.

I know it's basically standard, I just think we need more adubs in this thread.

Edit:

I have a feeling that this will be divisive, it's a bit of a cheque-book car/JDM parts whore but but I quite dig it anyway.

Needs more of this though.

That TSX looks awesome...Just drop the blue lip on the wheels and roll the rear fenders or something so it doesn't need that camber. Looks worse when its so different from the front. I'd also ditch the window visors so that the chrome trim is continuous around them.

I can't decided if this is questionable/photoshopped or not but it must be a track beast!

EDIT: Found that it is a photoshop, just re-done the Cusco car. Would be epic though, someone should make it!

I didn't say he has either.. I said you should get out and do something innovative instead of bitching about someone elses car

Yeah, people around here are all acting like some kind of car/racing purists, but most of them are internet tuners and online mechanics.

@ Perfect Balance:

A love me silvias (hence me name :sly:) and a think it looks ok but yeah they are oversized, and yeah its defo a S15 lookin at the rear lights ;)

And some of them aren't, "internet tuners and online mechanics."

EDIT: Personally, my viewpoint on slammed cars and the like is this: I don't care, as long as they don't claim to be something they aren't.

If their car is on airbags, then they should acknowledge that their car isn't going to handle well, and not claim that it does. If it's never going to be driven hard, they shouldn't pretend like their some kind of hardcore time attack racers.

No poseurs basically, as daan would say.

I'd tap that E30. however, I prefer E36 318ti with M5 V8 conversion. ;) now THAT is a hot hatch, I believe I posted it in few threads.

Or how about the Hamann Thunder, a 3-series coupe with the M5's V10?...

...which they then tuned to give 560bhp, as clearly 500bhp wasn't nearly enough :D

The 500hp one was shoe horned into a normal 4 door 3 series ages ago - so the tuneed V10 in the M3 body was the next reasonable step.

I'd find the 1 series hatch with the old M5's V8 more amusing....and then tune it. :D
