If you're getting a rear bodykit that has two exhaust cutouts, make sure they're both occupied. I see that as soooooo ricey when only one tip is sticking out of two holes.
Hmm. I personally find it pointless when there are two exhaust tips coming from a single header. It's a waste of space and weight. For instance, I do not approve of the dual exhausts on the new STi and Evo, amongst many other new cars. Besides, symmetry sucks.

Excuse my ignorance, but did the S2000 ever come stock with a hard top? If not, I don't understand why Honda never came up with it. A hard top S2000 is a bazillion times better looking than a soft top.

They did indeed come with a hard top, but not a full length one like that.

Are there any pictures of R53 mini's beside R56's? It'd be cool to see the differences side by side.

I never knew that the 56 was bigger by that much. Also a shame that they lost the middle emergency bulb. It's one of those little tickles of Europe that I like seeing.

The rear fog light? The regular Cooper's still have the one in the middle, mine's got it, although for the states it's entirely optional.

Its also brighter than the sun when you're stuck driving behind one in bumper to bumper traffic in the early fog. I couldn't see anything but the blinding glow so I just followed it whenever it went.

I only ever use mine in really heavy fog or heavy rain, but a lot of people run around with it on all the time.

And for something not off-topic:

It does time attack runs and I think it looks awesome.

I'm sorry, I know this probably isn't the case, but every time I see colored tires, I can't help but think of the white tires on little girl's bikes (which, at various times as a child, I've ridden, due to financial situations,) that, honestly, handle like they're made of chalk.

5 generations of RS loveliness

Slightly off-topic, and you may even have it already, but the current issue of Porsche 911 magazine has a good profile on all the RS models. Also, there's an awesome Porsche 911 bookazine around at the mo which I'm buying as soon as I can justify £8 for a magazine...

More RSs would be appreciated if you can find them!

Slightly more on-topic: Joey, that black time attack MINI looks brilliant. The stance is absolutely perfect.

Ya, I love it. I wish I had the money to lower mine. I either have to spend $1,500+ on coilovers or $200 on lowering spring that will blow through shocks every 12,000-20,000 miles. I wish the Coopers weren't so finicky because driving a 4x4 isn't my style.

It's about how you drive too though. I suspect your Cooper handles pretty well even though it rides a little high, and has a fairly nice ride too if it's anything like the R56 One I've ridden in. For virtually all road situations you'd be better off keeping it as-is I reckon even if it'd look a little better lowered. I'm assuming you don't drive around like Paddy Hopkirk the whole time so there wouldn't be much point lowering it. Same goes for my car. I don't have the money for suspension bits and I don't have the money for track days where I could see the benefits, so it's staying as it is!

Ya that's a fair point, it's just that I like lowered vehicle. Although after the headaches I had with the Blazer I probably should think about it pretty hard before I do it. Although part of the problem with the Blazer was that a couple drunk guys and myself lowered it on a Saturday night.

And no, I don't really drive it all that hard, which is why I'm really hesitant about coilovers.
