6th place

Recently picked up V8 Miata with the happy owner sitting in the drivers seat. Final weight numbers came in at 2,640lbs (+133lbs than delivered) with a front / rear distribution of 52.6 / 47.4.

(Check the STi powered Forester in back) ;)

Soooo stealth.Do you guys have any internship openings? I'm willing to quit my day job for a year just to get a crack at one of these puppies.

Had one of them. Swapped in as many STI parts as I could during the short period of time I had it. Want another one so badly but it's getting a bit old now so I'm looking at the spec.B instead.

Well I don't work there anymore, so my spot might be open. 👍

A V8 miata:dunce::dunce:

the V8 come from witch car?

Probably a LS block.

GM Performance LS3. Rated at 480 crank hp.

This one is pretty much the same. STi everything and goes like stink.

Hmmm... :D

On a side note, I've always loved that generation of Forester. Looks funky, goes fast. I know of some epic Forester builds. Never mind that it doesn't handle as well as a smaller car... it's just plain fun.

The new one is a bit too me-too for my tastes.

I think that V8 Miata would be even more of an sleeper without that "Flyin' Miata V8" sticker on top of the windshield. Anyway, that's badass.

Do the reverse tires make it go faster?

Doesnt make a difference unless its wet, so he rotates it for wear issues. Gets more track laps out of it that way. Since most of the turns are right handers...

So no difference to grip in dry.

Yeah, but the wagon looked so bad ass when it was lowered. There's just something about that car that I can never get over. The lines, the shape, it all just looks right.

They always put them on no matter what. You can choose to peel it off when you get home if you so desire. 👍

So my buddy...

...sold his S14. And his WRX. Not sure what he has in store, he just says "much better things". He's registered for drift events coming soon so I have no idea lol. I just know it's not an S14 because he's parting most of his aftermarket stuff.

^ He's talking about the windshield framing. And yeah, I believe it was a handful of pages back.

edit: actually it was in HFS's MX5 thread.

This V8 Supra is local where I live, I saw it at the same performance shop I had my Ute tuned recently. It runs full slicks, over 600hp at the wheels through a twin turbo 1UZ, and looks clean and tidy.:)
