Some of those BMWs should go into The Bavarian Bug thread that snuck out of the Premium section.

I did confirm the wheels on the Blue E90 above are indeed Volk TE37's. These pictures are coming from Mackin Industries personal flickr account, and they are an official Rays Wheels distributor.

They posted some more last night:

Considering the blue car is a BMW, the owner probably bought those wheels from Tire Rack. They offer plain gray TE37s and nobody really knows why. They're only good for painting because that gray looks horrible.

I don't know, seeing how I got them off a Rays Wheels distributor's flickr account, I would say they came from them.

He's a liar, then. Those are not Volks.

Don't know what to tell you then, I believe the supplier.

Edit:

Found another pic of the same car. Back of the wheel on the inner lip, pretty sure I see "RAYS".

They are Te-37. My bad. I had forgotten that the 19 inch te-37s look different than the other ones. The Varrstoens even have identical center caps

The only reason I realized they were TE-37s is because of the stamp on the lip. The Varrstoen don't have any.

A typical TE-37 looks like this:

Which has a completely different spoke design. They aren't as flat, as triangular, and the lip is never that big.

I apologize as well. I was thrown off for the same reasons PB listed; never seen a TE-37 in that design before. :guilty:

That reminds me of Germany's secret weapon during the Siege of Bastogne...

Credit to my buddy Josh and his E21 lol.

This is my 92' Eagle Talon AWD Drag car. It weighs 2,650lbs and can generate over 1,000whp. Some numbers for those who are not familiar with DSM's and their capabilities. This car has gone 9.41 @ 151mph in the 1/4 mile with 800hp at the wheels. It has not ran at the track with the new setup and 200+ extra hp. But 8 second passes should be in the near future for this car.I know a few other guys that make the same power in the same model car and they've hit 60mph in under 2 seconds. I'm in NY so I probably won't hit the track for a few more months.

I demand vids, 1g DSM launches are a thing of beauty that should be witnessed by everyone at least once in their lifetime.

What's been done to the drivetrain? And maybe a few specs just for fun... Surprised to see an air/air intercooler setup instead of the more potent air/water setup. Alcohol/Meth injection?
