Not RS Watanabe, but minilite style Rota RB

Pretty much. And besides, Minilites or Panasports aren't compatible with my E30 goal. My goal is to use Japanese parts on a German car in an effort to frustrate the purists.

SR20 swap?

Then again, this is exactly like my dream of a K20 powered, Championship White VW MKII Golf...

I'm not keen on Rotas, just example of minilite style wheel on it. I also get your idea, there are to many E30's with BBS RS around.

Well, it is an ES model so it's going to need some oomph at some point.

So many stanced E30s look the same as the next one. Mind you, they look good, but still the same. Something different is in order, and anyway the Diamond Racing rims on this one need to get lost.

Question to the MX-5 lovers!

I want to start a project car and thought the MX-5 could be alot a fun, so I was looking at some on the internet and this came by...
http://link.marktplaats.nl/406163623

He says it's 1 of the 5000, special this that blabla. Is it true? Never seen this before..

It is true. Mazda made a limited run of proper MX5 coupes that were only sold in Japan. That's clearly one of them.

If you get one, I will be insanely jealous.

Rare yes, but there are not 5,000 of them. Try around 350.

More info HERE.

"At the heart of the S15 is a very special SR. Response has been a goal throughout the development of the engine and Suzuki is very happy with what he has so far achieved. On the bottom end a Tomei 2.2L stroker kit helps boost capacity and sustain the 2.3 bar of boost that are pumped through the Hypertune intake plenum by the Blitz/KKK K27 turbocharger."

ScorchS15-097.jpg

"The top end is where things get special as it's been lifted off an SR20VE engine so has variable valve timing built in. This allows the use of very mild Primera P12 cams that are continuously varied throughout the rev range for a broad spread of timing. This supplies instant response and boost pick up at low rpm as well as a massively powerful top end where a max 700 HP is developed! Torque peaks in the mid-range with 470 lb/ft..."

I just found another Japanese part to put on my E30...

IMG_2957.JPG

The four-piston front calipers from my car! I was a little upset that I'm getting rid of my legit sports car status brakes for economy car brakes, but then I found these. They're being sold...on a BMW forum. People put them on BMWs. That's how awesome they are.

The concave face looks so much better for these wheels...and most wheels for that matter. I wish they would've featured it for smaller sizes.

Quit posting Miata's. You're making my wait to get one even harder. :P

This is the one I'm hoping to get, if he doesn't sell it before I gather all the money in the next couple weeks.
