Anyone know where I can find a wallpaper sized version of this pic?

RHD too. Oh well, it all depends on what you're in to. Who cares if he ruined the car to you? Looks like he improved the worth to himself by not giving a **** what it looks like and having fun
$20 says it's more to do with him following the stupid fad of making your car look like a rust bucket than not actually caring.
Edit* What do ya now.
Putting his woes behind him, Ross headed off to the Run To The Sun event in Newquay. It was here that fate would introduce him to the infamous Rat Look styling craze, while large quantities of alcohol would convince him it was good idea to take an angle grinder to the FD3 upon his return to the workshop.

All he needs now is a bicycle rack.

But there's a certain amount of 'i don't give a ****' attitude to make you do such a thing. FDs aren't exactly cheap to come by

1600x1200 isnt big enough to make one? Damn bro, your monitor must be ballin outta control.

lol

For a guy so interested in showing off his engine bay at Import Alliance you'd think he would at least fab up a new core support.

It's clean, it has a lot of money and work in it, but it's kinda stupid. Too fancy to drift, too compromised to race, and it's not even particularly good looking. Might be good at 40-rolls.

He does drift it.

Also, I agree it should have core support.

Only thing I don't like is the fact that they spent so much time and money making this thing look this good and then bought the absolute cheapest wheels money can buy.

That's my biggest complaint.

As for drifting it, he's only working with half a chassis! Now strut brace keep the engine from collapsing the frame on top itself and no core support to hold the front end together. Even if he were to get that big fancy Tomei 3-point strut brace he couldn't mount it because he went and put a small box right there on the firewall. That little thing is more prominently displayed than the entire engine. What is it? Why is it there instead of anywhere else? Why does he have a small red cable run halfassedly through the fender when everything else is so clean and tucked?

Thats actually a very dope shot imo.

And I can see the appeal of it. Just.

I'd love to have an awesome rustbucket like that because you don't care about the paint.

I just bought my first car. Its black. Not the colour I wanted really but it was the last on the market and it was for an amazingly good price.
I am its biggest critic for its condition. I look at it and see mark after mark and suff after scuff that others just miss and declare that I am being silly. I have refrained from washing it because I dont want to look at it closely for fear of finding more marks on it.
Having the rust effect would be great because.....it looks alright (too me anyways) and I wouldnt care if friends leant on it, if someone ran a key down the side, if someone opened their door on to it, basically all the things my car is going to be exposed to with on campus uni living that my car will be subjected too. Sure, its good that it already has a few marks so I wont be hearbroken when something else happenes to it, but this rust effect would erraicate all of that.

I could only see myself agonising over it more if it was an FD, so while its not to everybody's tastes, its not half bad and it adds more to the care free ownership everyone desires.

You see, there's a difference between having a rusty, beat up car and not caring about it, and taking a car and purposely making it look that horrible.

It's not like it just happened to be completely stripped of paint and covered in stickers. There's plenty of beat up cars at the local drift events that they simply rattle can the car. That way it actually looks decent out on the track and in pictures.

When did making a pos become cool?

Well its highly subjective to label it a pos. One man's trash is a next mans treasure. It would fly like hot bog of a shovel and it does its own thing. Those street dragsters you see with ill fitting bonnets, hacked front bumpers to accomodate lurid intercoolers and poorly maintained paint and dints everywhere are too me, further from an aesthetical pleasing mark than this thing. Its so off it in fact that its closer to it - its gone round the globle the wrong way to reach the finish line, so to speak.

The white S2000 is photoshopped. They don't make Work Equip 01's in 5 lug applications.

yup, same wheel on both ends. A big no-no.

The yellow Supra is amazing, though. And the dude in the white NSX with his tires on his wing is cool. Rear view is overrated anyway, haha

If only they'd release that as streetgoing model.. AWD, 435bhp, turbocharged i5 and anything else but boring..

Lucas
I knew I had seen that Supra before. Here. (Been posted in this thread)

I like it better in white, without black wheels.
I like it more in yellow, gives me a more racey feeling then the white. Have seen enough of white lately..
