Coming from the only Canadian province that's not going to riot after their team loses in the playoffs, because neither team's ever going to make it there again:

They didn't say it was neat, or cool, or sweet. They said it was epic. Look it up in the dictionary if you're having trouble grasping it.
Where's the 'like' button when you need it most. 👍

Cars can look good not hammered on the ground, too. All you need is some legit racing wheels, some serious tires, and four-piston front calipers wink wink nudge nudge.

The photo itself is amazing 👍 It has the 'WOW' factor, that's what makes it epic/awesome to see, nothing said over the accident itself.

Seeing as most kids use epic to describe cool stuff, it'd be easy to think he meant that. Either way it's not epic by the traditional meaning - It wasn't unusual (3 drivers died in 1970, the year of PC's fatal crash, 1 in 1969 and 1 in 1971) and the nature of the way that he died was not heroic, but tragic and brutal, a reminder that we are very lucky to be able to enjoy such safe racing nowadays. If you know what the picture is showing and the story behind it, it is very, very hard to pass it off in such a casual manner.

Seen that 32 a few times, never gets old. My favourite kind of car, simple but stunning. Although the white lettering on the tyres needs to go, it taints the simplicity for me.

The lettering's fine, it's the stupid bolted together Cusco/Safety21 cage in it that really has to go.

Would rather have the wheels on the R33 than the R33 itself.

EDIT: Would still rock, however.

Great answer there. So do you find it heroic, or out of the ordinary? Do you know the story behind it? Does looking at that image sicken you?
The picture itself is of an F1 car drifting past some flaming wreckage, which is awesome. Risking your life to do what you love and dieing while doing it is epic. A passionate race car driver would be disgusted that you think he'd be happier dieing of old age sitting in a wheel chair, or playing cards in a nursing home.
