Totally not an import, but I don't care because it looks awesome:

Importing cars older than a certain year is legal right? Like importing one of these Skyline sedans could be done with no issues?
I don't know, I was interested to import a C10 or something, but prices are pretty high. For a really nice C10 you'll pay atleast 20k usd.

You surely need some money to import it.. If I had 30k laying around I know I would, but I don't have it :grumpy: If you go cheaper, your looking at the 80's + model..

And for the same price you have this:

What would you buy? Historic and classic, or sort off new and high techno? (If it was legal to import that to the US)

Sideways down the hill with headers and throttle bodies inches from your head must have been quite the experience.

I was actually talking about the 4-door version. 👍

Nothing like some 195s on 15x6.5 wheels with spacers behind them.

15x7 +35, 205/50. Get it done. Don't make me go bigger!

Your assumption would be fine if those were 15's, but they're 16's. Easy to tell by the spoke design and hub area which is different to the 15". Full specs on wheels and tires, as quoted by the owner on another forum:
"215/45/16 Kumho XS on 16x8 +35 (4x114), 5mm spacer front, no spacer rear."

And more misc pictures of the thing at various times of its life.

Must be the bigger wheel, but those are the skinniest looking 215s I've ever seen. Maybe I've just gotten used to mine already lol.

There's a few of them that are over 1000hp, actually. I've been out of the game for a while, but most of the cars in the NHRA Sportsman FWD class 3-4 years back were pushing around 1200-1300whp, with mid-high 8 ET's from the fastest of them. While still being "relatively" street legal.

How does one be "relatively" street legal? I thought a car was either street legal or not.

Well the rules stated the cars had to have a valid title and that tube chassis or cut frames were illegal (though for safety reason the front end of the car before the strut towers could be modified), ie keeping the street car spirit.

Hence the relatively street legal part. Because I don't think you'd last 5 minutes on the streets with a car like that. Chute, slicks, no muffler, exhaust coming out of the hood, cage, dog box transmission and etc? Not sure that'd pass in California.

This one's still the fastest around in that class, I believe.
