I personally, yes. I wouldn't drop a V8 in such a car. It doesn't feels right to me.(Nothing said what is better on paper) However, the NSX.... I think that's THE car in need for such an engine. That car has so much potential..

Want it.

Wait wait wait wait... An Impreza that's not on Rotas? What in the world is going on?!?

Loved that S13 until I read it was LS powered... Not that I see anything wrong with the LS swap in there, but I just wished, with all the Nismo parts and Rocket Bunny stuff, that there was something a little bit more... japanese in there.

You sure? I thought I remembered seeing a picture of the engine bay with an SR20 in there. If so, then yeah I agree with all the Nismo stuff and LSx just doesn't really belong.

I love how all these cars get photographed inside hangars and whatnot. I'm a student pilot and I'm not even allowed to take my car in the hangar! These guys must know people who work at the airport or they actually do work there. To own an R32 in Indiana I'm assuming he might actually work there...

I can't imagine shipping the car and any parts you might need from Japan to Indiana, of all states, is very cheap.

The last time I saw a legit R32 GTR for sale the owner was asking I think $50,000. GTS-Ts seem to go for a bit less around $25,000 or so.

50k? Wow. A quick search in the "local" classified found me 7 BNR32 GT-R's, most of them under 15k, and at least 12 GTS-T, all under 10k save one.

And that's just within 300km of me... We have so many R32s in Canada I'm starting to wonder if there are any left in Japan.

I've heard its still possible to register one but you have to jump through so many hoops its barely worth it. The one I'm talking about was one of those that was imported by that one company. I can't remember the name but I think they had legal trouble a few years ago and had to shut down? Those cars are the most legit and always go for the most money. I've seen a few on ebay and such going for less but they are no where near as legit.

Way too much unless those cars are pristine. The GT-Rs are the ones everyone knows about, not the GTS-Ts, so I don't see the demand being that high for one unless it's an enthusiast who truly wants a Skyline (& even then, should know better).

I don't know, I'm not claiming to be an expert. Just reporting what I've seen. I assume they may be cheaper in the south near you.
The R32 & R33s are because they're not GT-Rs (& generally, the owners have ragged the hell out of them, unfortunately).

The R34s are a different story, mainly because they're all GT-Rs. The only other GT-R outside that generation is a 700bhp R33 & the owner won't take less than $60,000 for it.

:scared: What the?! That's weak.. Wouldn't even try to buy one for that money.. Or maybe import one and drive it on circuit only.. Or is that illegal too?

Oh, and this is sick

You can do anything on a track you want. You could probably buy one for a fraction of $50,000, turn it into a track car and just buy a truck and trailer to haul it around with. I don't see much fun in owning a car you can only drive a handful of times a year though.

I also hear about people doing shady dealings and driving them around on the street 100% "legit" but you ask them how they did it and they will never give you a straight answer.

Problem is it's illegal to own one in the USA, so legalized cars go for big bucks.

I thought that was just the r33 and r34? The r32 was the one crash tested and they used that data for the r33 and r34 which got them in hot poo.
At least that's what I thought the case was.

I think it's the R33s that were crash tested
