My friend's R32 GT-R is registered and daily driven. I know exactly how he did it too.
All these R34s they've been seizing were registered also. When the DOT discovered the crash test cock-up they realized that these cars should never have been allowed to be registered...or else they just made that part up. Either way, the cars were once legal and then suddenly weren't anymore.

Registered in Washington state as a kit car and given a VIN, then he transferred the registration to Colorado. The car was purchased in pieces and he used official diagrams from Nissan and pictures from the internet to put it back together. Now it's getting a full build to the tune of 800+ HP.

Getting kit cars registered up here, especially in the eastern part of the state where it is all small towns isn't too hard. I knew a guy with an R32 GTs-t that more or less told the inspection guys it was a kit car and he had removed the "not for road use" bits off some of the receipts. And so they riveted a new VIN on it and called it a day.

I could see someone getting away with that for a while but I doubt they'd get away with it forever.

Yeah, he's being extremely careful. That and, he's in a relatively small town so nobody there really cares. He got pulled over once just because the highway patrolman wanted to look at the car. :D

I'm pretty sure someone around here at one point or maybe still has an R33 GTS-T but I've never seen it anywhere around town. They're pretty strict around here and I bet they'd bust your balls over something much smaller than having an illegal car...

Start with one GT3 RS.

1 street legal GT3 RSR.

I think it looks great. For those that are wondering, it's the AP2 Mugen front bumper

AP1/AP2, no difference with the Mugen SS bumper, it'll fit both. The Mugen lips aren't interchangeable from the AP1 to the AP2, however.

The owner of the Thai restaurant down the street from me has a very nice silver AP1 with a bunch of Mugen and J's parts, and the best part is he tracks it often. Wish I could have gotten pics before the guy put it in storage for winter...

Moar Moogen.

The white S2000 looks kind of 'shopped.... Check out that shadow at the very right edge of the front bumper.

I thought it was a C5 Corvette at first glance... Then I was like, "wait, C5s never had rear spoilers, and were not RHD... and what's with the engi....ohhhh I see". :ouch:
