How can you not like this rear end:

Fixed.

I knew somebody would say the 993 looks much better, but the price does reflect that, and for less you can get better performance and a more comfortable car with the 996. The rear looks elegant, at least to me.

EDIT: Oh, and IMO it's not totally fixed until you get to this one:

The GT-R is quite a big car:

People keep saying that, but every time I stand next to one... The first thing that comes to mind.. "Why do people think this is so big?" I'm always underwhelmed... A 70's Caddy is a big car, GT-R is just kind of... medium.

Unless you live somewhere where 70's Caddy's are very common, a GT-R is still very large for what is essentially a 2+2 sports car. Put a 996 or 997 next to a GT-R and it's like Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

Less lame than before.

Eh.. Porsches are small cars.. At least I think so. GT-R is well... It isn't small, but doesn't deserve the nickname Godzilla... Because it isn't that big. I think this is just he American in me showing though.. I'm used to seeing pickups the size of apartments.

That's the crux of the matter. Whenever i see a GT-R over here (in Europe), GT-Rs always just stand out as being huge. I don't think that it's particularly because they are huge, they're not that much different in size to Audi A5 or Merc E-Class coupe's. Maybe it's just that they don't hide their size well.

It's not the most subtley styled car in the world. Fact is, it's enormous for what it is, just like most cars these days.

But then again, I drive an early-90s RX7 which is half the size of a new Mustang.

Compared to my Forester it's huge. 8.5 inches longer and 6.6 inches wider! It's 300+kgs heavier too.

Foresters really are not that big though, for an SUV.

Edit: Ewww on the green Z. And I'd like to know who thought it was a good idea to "stance" a freakin' Ferrari.
