A girl at my school has a TT JUST like this, but with red center caps.

Well right now she's on teal steelies.

Small gripe, but what's up with the seemingly unnecessary photoshopping on the E30? Take a look at the rear bumper in both pics.

Edit: actually, maybe that's the way the sun is hitting the matte black on the top pic? Weird that it turned out to match the white so well. :D

I was gonna say, I can't see any photohop, at least at the resolution posted on flickr. Just the way the light is hitting it I'd. Though that could be how the exposure was handled in Lightroom or whatever was used to resize this and put them on flickr.

Those NB Miatas though... looks like the HDR problem hit.

It's not supposed to look good, it's supposed to be fun, and it looks like it is.

So the exhaust pipe serves as a wheelie bar?
Probably, that would be pretty awesome

Also, the first isetta I posted has a rotary engine and was built with a budget of about 2k. so 👍

Look at the first 10 or so pages and see how car culture has changed in the past 10 years. I thought it was really funny.

Imagine what car culture will be like 10 years from now. I'd imagine that most of the things that people think are cool now will look very stupid by then.

Kinda like this gem from a page in this thread from '02

How cool does this thing look 9 years on? LOL

I was gonna tell you already that that looked sort of questionable, especially the front lights and the big spoiler in relation to the other mods.

photoshopped. And badly.

If that's a bad photoshop (I can only really tell by the toe on the rear wheel), then I must be an absolute n00b (which seems unlikely, given how much experience I've had with it).

Also, what's with the photos no longer being viewable on the earliest pages of this thread?

I know this was posted a few pages ago, but I must say that this is the most sexy modified car I have EVER seen:

Flawless.

easy: where is the yellow of the wheels in the reflection?

Defined Autoworks continues to impress:

475whp from a NATURALLY ASPIRATED 20b. That is considerably more than the factory Mazdaspeed 20b (from the RX8 grand am cars) make, and all on pumpgas with relatively mild 9.7:1 compression.

I like the car too, looks pretty tough.

Dyno Chart:

200lbs*fts of torque from before 3500rpm to well past 10,000rpm. This thing must be absolutely savage fun to drive. Talk about endless pull. And the sound...good god. This is why I love n/a powerplants.

If I ever make it big, I'm going to give these guys a blank check to build me a 4 rotor.

Just thought about something. If they got some aluminum rotors for the same motor, with higher compression, and were able to maintain that 200lbs*ft through to 15,000rpm (possible with aluminum rotors) it would make 571whp...from an n/a 2.0 liter! 300hp/liter. Epic.
