Wheels installed + flares because they won't fit under stock fenders.

Now they need 10mm spacers.

Has there been any weight & balance done on this car yet? I'm interested to see some fresh stats on that engine in the NC.

While my ideal NA would still use a tuned version of the regular 1.6, I love the idea of an LS in an NC. Would make a fun little hot rod.

I've always liked the idea of the VVT BP 1.8 in an NA. Better yet, a special edition NA with the VVT BP. Then ITBs, flywheel, etc. So far I got the 01+ engine but decided to go with the 99 head. Unfortunately I had no time or money to get the VVT to work back then :indiff:

It's really too bad the Miata came with such a boring engine. I've always imagined how awesome it would've been if they came with a 20v 4AGE or B16 (that spun the opposite direction of course )

If I built an all out N/A Miata it would get an SR20VE. Unfortunately those were only FWD, so you have to do a RWD SR20 block w/VE head conversion and all the research I have done on pricing, it's ridiculous how expensive it would be.

@ Keef - no hard numbers yet.

I was kind of close to "doing" an SR swap in my car. Then I realized the kit from Australia came with mounts with the hole for the steering column on the "wrong" side. That's all I realized though. (sarcasm)

An SR20VE Miata with ITBS would be epic though. Oh what I would do with moneys.

Yeah that kit from Australia is $$$$.

And yeah, money...you and me both. So many project ideas.

And to fit one of my usual themes, Here is this wonderful documentary on the Singer 911. Some will notice some familiar images.

Man, that R34! 👍

And that was a good documentary about the Stinger 911, a re-designed and re-imagined classic 911, built with passion, just like the RWB Porsches with the 993 GT2 and GT racing Porsches of the past style. Just beautiful. 👍

Everybody do themselves a favor and head over to StanceWorks. Their latest feature is another car from BMWNA's Vintage Collection.

For those interested, and those able to do so, that Calsonic R32 Skyline shot is from the latest issue of EVO magazine - they get to drive it...

Not to mention that rear fitment. I thought it was shopped, then realize it's the classic VW move of "I want the stretched tire look with these 15x6 that are far too low of an offset for this car, so I'll put some 135s on it."

EDIT: Is that a VW lip? I've see it somewhere before.
