I'ts a great looking car, I don't think it ruins it. At least not any more than the AE86 with the un-painted carbon doors and hood, and the wheels with the polished rim and black spokes (Volks or not.) And the useless Cusco roll cage. And this is coming from someone who's a huge fan of the AE86.

Well the "joints" are all connected by bolts (meaning they're taking all the forces) which, as far as we know, could be made out of whatever cheap steel the company decided to use. Then how they bend to clear the dash board at the front.

I wasn't implying that it should have been left stock, just that that particular 86 is a collection of pricey parts that were slapped together and the package doesn't offer anything more than the sum of its parts. I could have thought of a few other 86s that would have fit the shot a little better than that one.

That 86 would be really nice IMO with painted doors, maybe hood and a nice welded in roll cage. I disagree about The wheels, I really like them.

Well then that would pretty much change the entire look of the car in that photo, which is what I was saying.

Black spokes with a polished rim is a sure way to ruin any car. Im aware that the spokes on that 86 arent black, but same idea. Solid-colored wheels look better every time.

I like the wheels. I think polished lips with black/gray/gold spokes is a great look for most cars. To each his own though.

That 964 with the ducktail on the last page is awesome. Any more details on it? Looks like a very restrained RWB car. I really like it.

Problem is the imported Soarers are utterly expensive for what they are, and the local SC's are either rusted out/beat to hell and back, or have 200k miles. Oh well.

F'real doe? You guys are going a little overboard on the number of pictures per post. Everybody's got broadband internet these days but even I'm taking a minute or two to load a whole page. Meanwhile it's skipping back and forth and I never manage to see everything. So please, if you've got ass loads of pictures to post, keep it less than 20 per post or so. There's no harm in double or triple posting to fit in a bunch of great material. I'd rather see smaller posts and more pages instead of monster posts on a few pages.
