Because pursuing a Supra on a Lada is a bad idea. :sly:
Also note the other cars in the city being Japanese RHD models mostly.

Running through some archives, 70s-80s Lada touring cars.

This particular one is owned by a former racing driver, now a car collector Stasys Brundza.

VFTS, huh?

VFTS wasn't really well known at the time and only prepared cars for a handful of drivers if I reckon correctly. Only in late/mid 80s did it kick off with the 2105. Stasys Brundza, the main head of VFTS, is really well known here, he's kind of a lithuanian Jay Leno. You can often see his cars up for shows and he's a great car guy :)

I'm sure you know about it but I think it's worthy of this thread. The Lada 2108 EVA. It was developed to compete in the Group B but didn't make it before the group was closed. AFAIK 3 cars were built.

While everyone else is drooling over the 964, 993, and 997 cars, I'm going to find myself a nice, clean, low mileage 996 C2S and just enjoy the **** out of it.

Might as well spend a little more and get a turbo, it's probably the best all around sportscar for sale in the 30s-40s right now
