Hi Y'All:
:D I've got a 10 Lap Race just about ready to go. I've found a "Novel" solution to the "AI" Contact problem that caused so many drivers "Grief" in the recently concluded 5-Lapper. Post here or "PM" me if you're interested, in the 5-6 times I've tested it so far it's proven to be a GREAT Race!!! ...UB57 :D

As long as I have the car or can get it in 30 miinutes I'm in.
 
Well, since you've assured me the next one will be a piece of cake, UB57, I guess it should be possible for me to make one clean race. :nervous:

But no walls, please. :scared:

What I'm trying to say: I would love to race again with (read:behind) your guys, and will definitely give it a serious try. :D
 
I'm willing to give it another go, schedule permitting, hopefully with a better result than I got at Seattle II. :yuck:

In the meantime, those interested in a quick 5 lap spot might want to check out a race that easyed is running over at House of GT SPOT RACE - Whose Line Is It Anyway? (HGT) and also at the Numbers SPOT RACE - Whose Line Is It Anyway? (Numbers)

The race uses the C-West Razo Silvia, at Trial Mountain, against many of the same JGTC cars we just ran against, though on this flowing sort of track they don't seem near as malevolent as they did at Seattle. Peekay and Slowpoke are topping the leaderboard. The race is open through midnight 6/27 (Sunday).

There is also a discussion thread at each of the sites relating to racing against the AI in general: Races Against the AI - Whose line is it anyway? (HGT) and Races Against the AI - Whose line is it anyway? (Numbers). The discussions center somewhat around using AI races as a sort of bridge from "hot lap" OLR to the kind of actual OLR that should be possible in GT4, and what sort of driving rules/etiquette will work in that context.

:D Good info thru your links! 👍 I've put the 10-Lapper I had ready to go "Back on the Shelf" for a bit & am testing another Ride/Venue Combo right now. The "Ride" we used for the 5-Lapper was one I'd never used in an OLR & in fact had NEVER even driven before. Have found the last "Racer" I've never before driven & am now searching for a suitable Venue. Hope to get the 10-Lapper WELL Tested & Posted soon...UB57 :D
 
OK Y'All:
:D I "Think" I've found a real "Doozy" of a race for our first 10-Lapper. Am about to send it off for my "Beta" tester to give a whirl.
For those of you "Sitting on the Fence": This race (So Far) features a different "Ride" & a "Natural" (Nice & WIDE) Course as opposed to the "Street" Circuit we used last time, Oh yeh & LOTS more HP too! :eek:...UB57 :D
 
Well I'm starting to get quite keen now, plus I've got ALL my schoolwork outta the way for ages so I'm very keen for some quality online racing:D

Lots of HP on a wide openn course with tire wear on, sounds good:D

Tyre Wear??? "Oh Yes!!!" 👍 One Pit Stop will be Mandatory. First results are in from our "Beta" tester & the Ride/Venue Combo looks good. As the WRS concludes on Monday every week I'm hoping to post this race Tuesday.
BTW: Did I mention you don't have to "Win" the Ride we're using this time???...UB57 :D
 
Oh good, no winning, If one pit stop's maditory I might have to do some testing with tire types to see what I can get just 5 laps out of, try to get as many fast time as possible. I'm rather interested in what your car choice is though, can't wait now:D!

By the way the 5 lapeer looked really interesting, I wish I'd put the time into winning the car and giving it a run, oh well this is sounding like being a doozy too so hopefully it'll be just as good:)

Yo Blake... Did ya notice where your name is on the list above? When UB does announce this race (crosses arms and taps foot impatiently) you have a big red target painted on you for guys who intend to have their name there instead :lol:

By the way, trademark UB57 means doozy of a race. I'm 99.99999% sure we'll have our hands full again just being first to the finishline in the game let alone here. ;)

Well it's not my fault my name begins with a "B", lol. It woulkd be good if I could stay there but somehow I doubt it, lol. I don't mid a challenge infact I'm starting to crave one after along time not doing much gt3-ing.

10-Lapper "Update"​

:D OK Boys & Girl, I "Think" I've tested this for the "Last Time." The "Good News" is that I "Just" Beat it (1.524') & was 100% Clean!. The "Bad News" is that for the very first time my "Beta Tester" hasn't been able to take First Place. "CLOSE but NO Cigar!" he says. SO, pending any "Last Minute" Developments it will be Posted Tomorrow. Fo those of you who may have missed any hints: 10-Laps with Tyre Wear / Non-"Arcade" / Non-"Street Circuit" / MANDATORY Pit Stop (1) / R-390 & GT-One as main "Protagonists" / that's all folks! 👍...UB57 :D
