Wow, I just tried the GTLM for the first time tonight and its scarily fast in comparisson too the other cars out there. Its just brilliant now I can see why people dont like it, it feels like an unfair advantage because it handing is excellent.

appologies to all I raced against then, I had to stop my racing temorarily and when I rejoined a lap down, I shouldnt have done that RBE made me faster than everyone and subsequently I got in peoples way, I didnt really think that through sorry.

Sorry Angelx..I got hit from behind by doctorben..took both of us out..
its cool, it was partially my fault as i am still getting used to the braking points and i braked very early which made things worse. Good racing though.
What kind of lap times are you doing with the mines? I feel like i am driving so slow compared to everyone else, 2'01 is my best lap in a race.

To GTP_zzAli sorry, I missed a gear coming out of the right hander before going under the bridge, you didn't have to hold up that was my fault.

It's wrongly named it is actually locked on Pro physics.
And just to prove my point i hotlapped my GTLM tune, normally most my cars get around 1:59 maybe a shade under (1:58.5 and a little below for my Viper), yesterday i had 4-5 laps with the GTLM and got 1:58.4 ish, this morning i tried again and adjusted my style and clocked a 1:55.784. How is this even remotely fair?

Sorry to GTRP_Hugo, was a bad idea to overtake on 130R, I thought I had enough speed from my slipstream to sail past on the straight but I realised too late that I didnt have the pace and nudged you wide I tried to wait for you but then I put a wheel on the grass and went flying off the track myself.

Well my last race got ruined fast by the eventual winner doctorben in the GTLM, brake checked me 3 times so i had no hope of getting near.
MR cars overall are just far to fast in this event, us front engine drivers have little hope once a break is made.

That brings up a good point - I had heard the GTLM requires early braking. When someone gets by you in one of those what are your options for getting by them again? They are clearly faster out of the corner and if they take the right line into it, how in the world are you ever going to get past them?

Sorry RudiRaser if I accidentally ruined your race, at one corner I saw GTP_Stevisiov sliding in front of me so I had to brake but didn't have enough time to move out of the line and you hit me behind. Also to timeattack07gt as well in the Mine's, had to brake early when the GTR almost lost it in front of me!

Slipstreamm, the GTLM isn't slow but its not the fastest down the straight either if you get ahead good defensive driving is required, lets not forget the GTLM is tricky to control at the best of times the driver behind isnt going to try a risky overtake when you have put your car in the defensive line. Of course some oppenents will jus bash you instead but a clean GTLM driver can be kept at bay.

Well seeing as cars like my Viper (tuned version) CANNOT catch the GTLM even in its slipstream, that doesn't work either, I have to make insane overtaking moves to get around them, ie super late braking, or any small mistake using to get by. The only cars with the grunt to pass them don't have the cornering ability to beat them, and vice versa.
