I can't belive how good I am in throwing good races away...:ouch: I'm quite fast untill I make the inevitable mistake(s).
But I like the Corvette! it's a joy to drive.
Sorry to anybody I was standing in your way in the chicane.

No, you didn't. I left you some at the inside of the righthander before the hairpin, but then had to take the inside line through the hairpin. Then i was on the trottle too much too early and lost it.:ouch:

It was easy to be fast at HSR straight away with the G25, but at suzuka I still need more practice to be consistent.

Used me as brake a couple of times and eventually just pushed me off in one of the races I did. 👎

HAHA I am now going to stop giving respect to people because the last few times I said someone was cool, they've gone and smashed into one of my mates, so I'm going to keep quiet! But...Stotty's still cool right? ;P

All the best

Sorry Prudentbear for the bump a couple of races ago, I knew you would be hitting the brakes much earlier with that Ford GT, but I was stiil thrown off guard.....

Great races BTW tonight with lots and lots of GTP-ers.

The GT it so slow mid corner. i feel bad about slowing down drivers behind me.

Mmm. As long as everyone is driving these tuned cars with R3s I don't think it's going to be prudent (ahem) to drive anything else - I'm just in the way at every turn. Might be back later to give it a try.

wow, my best race today 👍 👍 and no LAGS.

he rudi,damn...finally raced you today only to mess up in the ss'es...:ouch:..than i find out that in my settings i somehow put the rearbrakes on 10 and front on 2...:ouch::ouch:....good to see you win from this nervous guy in the mines though:tup:

spyrrari.

to southslider and drama-kyd I apologize for my mistake on lap 4 in your race we just finished, I pushed the GTR too hard coming out of the backstretch and lost control, went all over the track and i think I hit both of you in the process. When i recovered and had the lead I was like O_O and I think thats what happened, I'm really sorry guys :(

This is some awesome racing!!

Yeah, you were great in that GTR, also thumbs up for Dustdriver in his Ford GT(winning the last race) and Timppaq in his Elise. Great driving you guys!!!! 👍

Ok, so these races are better than the last update's, better is relative though. Better in this case is like asking would you rather be punched in the face or stomach, but you still need to be punched. These new pp limits are just plain silly and racing pp750 cars with R3 tires is just silly...might as well be need for speed of some arcade racing crash-up-derby game.

But, at least the new pp750 is at a real track that takes skill and attention to drive at, is a standing start and is over 3 laps.

Sadly it is still crash-up-derby requiring you to drive a AWD car with lots of downforce so it's hard to knock you off the track... unless you are racing tagged racers that you know...but then the lag is so bad because we are stuck with another of these stupid world events that you still have to drive a AWD car to not get knocked it no the sand due to lagged cars. Lucky for me I finally broke my oldest rule (i.e don't drive Evos) on the last update TT and have become quite fond of the Evo X so I have that as a safety car. I need to find a RWD car that I like for this race though. The clio is tempting but can't be tuned to pp750 and in my book, running a car at a event under the PP limit is cheating, particularly if the car can be tuned to the PP limit..I see that the Clio can't be...but still, no go.

I'll spend more time racing this time around...but we REALLY need pp600 events at Suz of Fuji on S1 tires...

No we don't I've had little trouble with lag and have not been hit off at all in an entire days racing, just some bumps and scrapes. I've been using the Mines and Viper most of the day to great success.

Its cool.

the s2k cant cut it. time to bring the big boy out.

I'm terribly, terribly, terribly sorry Bollox! What I did is absolutly inexcusable! Must have been sleeping for a second.

I'ts a shame. I have to take a break. I did a lot of bullsh.. in the last race.

Wow, now there's a sentence that would turn a few heads outside of a racing forum!

And Scooby, love the Rorschach avatar :)

I find the S2K pretty good, particularly through sector 1 it flies round there on R3s, lacks some brute speed on the straights which can be annoying in races. Of the cars I've used so far the Vipers my favourite in terms of race pace, its plenty capable of under 1:59 in free run, the Corvette is on similar terms but I only used it a little so I can't compare. The Viper looks better in my opinion which is why I use it alot. Its well balanced overall and beats the pants of the Mines I've been using in the turns. I just enjoy the challenge of the Mines, in trying to compete with the faster cars.

This is not the best evening of raceing from my part. I'm sorry for all the mess. It's lagging alot and i'm not driving too good.

i get 1'59s on r2's in free run with the s2k and ran a 10'17'xxx. the r3's take up too much pp. the GT owns evrything though.

i would'nt feel too bad, this is probably the highest standard of racing i have ever seen :scared:

It's rather discouraging that you are forced to run tuned cars with lots of downforce on unrealistic tires...but at least it's a change from that horrid HSR event we had last time.

I'm sure PD will bring back sports car racing on realistic tires at some point. I'm waiting for it just like you seem to be.

Watch out for harrylam (HK) complete tool just punting all the time.

And who is that setcaptain (DE)? Two races ruined because of him punting also.

Realised why i'm quite slow in Suzuka, forgot to set the gear ratios correctly! They were far too long for Suzuka to get any acceleration hence why I struggle to pull away. Doh!
