I'm really not having too much problems with lag. Every couple of races I'll see one or two drivers wheenging about but that's about as bad as it gets. There were a lot of US last night and a lot of JP today and on the whole it was pretty smooth.
 
I just tried to race here, First race went wobbly on the grid and disconnected, 2nd race I made 1st place by turn 1, you guessed it got punted.

I don't know if the RBE effects me at all..lol..I haven't had a bad race yet. All the guys I race with are incredibly clean and fast.:)

Yup you are fast!! HAhahaH its a pity I spun off.... after that I couldnt get back up to the front anymore... :)
 
just a quick little idea.
how about later on tonight we all race in the Ferrari 430 with R3 tyres on and pumped up to 700pp with default settings for everyone. Just for 1 hour. Might get a idea how fast we are like the time trial we have for Sphinx going on. Anyone up for this.

Would've won if I didn't bump into the back of Timo at the exit of casio.
He's fast in turns, but gets smoked on the straight by the GT
Still congratz on the win, at least we managed to keep that TEW guy out of the lead.

yeah that TEW guy in the Viper is smooth and never makes mistakes..
 
Sorry there was a little bump at the start DustDriver, my poor little elise was getting kicked around like a football by the guys behind and I think they thought your GT was the goal.

Even tho' it's still a punt fest, especially at Turn 1, there's now more time to catch up with the leaders & more time for other drivers (or yourself) to make mistakes. Now it's easy to see that with even longer races, we might settle down to some really good racing. 👍

Even 'tho I was really "rusty" after a couple of weeks off, I had a few good laps last night bumper to bumper with Kartracer, Vaxen, Sinsemila & others. So nice to be able to run 750PP side-by-side without getting bumped... 👍

Finally had my first good race just now. Didn't get punted for the first time and didn't make any mistakes aswell. I got to 1st after half a lap and thought I had the pace to win it, but then TEW_fiestaSTjpn came along. He managed to close a 2.6 second gap in 1 lap. He was just too fast, so I let him past and took 2nd. :)

I just cant stay alive on the track at the start...

You do well until everyone is being careful and bam traffic jam and accidents begin...

I did get a 1'59'563 on free mode with a S2K which made me happy

Ive lost confidence in driving for now. Time for a brake and some dinner
 
blah...... the last 4 races here have ended with 'disconnected from server'. All that effort for nothing. Its getting a real pain. Someone doesn't like coming anywhere but first it seems.
 
that race was just something else... lots of overtaking, incredibly entertaining.

SimcoeAce, sorry if I bumped into you on the way to dunlop (on lap 3?), it seemed that it didn't affect your driving and you held your position so I let it be. We swapped places at least a half a dosen times without problems 👍

Timo's thrust in dunlop was something I didn't see coming :lol: damn that Elise is a piece of work.

doctorben was doing amazingly well in front, with the handicap and everything... great driving indeed.

I'll let my friend drive for a bit, prolly be back around 30!

seriously - awesome performance!

And now the bad news. I've seen a couple of GT-R's on suzuka and they were very much competitive. While they were very clean racers I'll bet it's only a matter of hours before the numpties get their hands on a good setup. I predict Suzuka 750pp roont by this time next week :grumpy:
 
GTR is great it got me the odd 1'59 like yesterday once only...

Im starting to like the S2K it grips and it drifts... but still got me a 1'59 aswell..

I prefer the rolling start now :nervous:
